This stand is badass! It is very sturdy and holds my guitar in place without any worries. Some of my stands in the past didn’t have the right balance and as a result my guitar would topple over the stand. Luckily I didn’t trust those stands and I was there to catch my guitar. With this stand I don’t have to worry. Furthermore it’s padded nice to protect my guitar. I highly recommend this stand if you’re thinking about getting one. Well worth the price.

Very sturdy stand. Takes a good shove to get it to wobble when a guitar is on it.I'm using the "Narrow Instrument Neck Adjustment" it comes with to make the bars where the head sits thicker. It makes my fender strat and tele fit just a bit better. Though I do wonder about the rubber of the adjustment pieces wearing on the guitar finish compared to the foam of the rods without them. Time will tell.

For 20 years I had cheapo music stands and they always felt a little sketchy but serviceable. Occasionally the kids would knock a guitar off, and one got a little beat up. Enter the Hercules stand. Holds the guitar solidly, adjustable height, padded top and bottom. I wouldn't hesitate to but even my most expensive guitars in these. I started with one, now I own three. Highly recommended.

After buying an electric guitar, my son and I returned to the store to buy a stand. Because his guitar has a different body shape/model, the regular stands would not work. Then we saw Hercules, which has adjustable height and an auto-lock system to keep the guitar in place. I would buy this product again and totally recommend it!
I originally wanted to buy a wooden decorative stand for my guitar, but I have some very active pets including a cat who thinks everything in the house is hers. I started researching sturdy stands and this one seemed to be the one that stood out. It arrived so quickly and was a snap to put together! I placed my guitar in it and crossed my fingers. Let me say, my cat and dog are no match for this stand. They ran past it, my cat rubbed up against it, they both played around it and the guitar remained upright and unharmed! I love the way it shows off my instrument but is safe and secure. If you are on the fence buy this stand. You won't regret it.
Out of the box when I first put my hands on this I knew it was a solid build. Very impressed. I've held many of camera and guitar tripods over the decades and when I first looked at this I was like, this is serious. I can't see how it can be improved. Hopefully the plastic sticky issue has been resolved from previous releases I have read in the reviews. I am putting some very expensive guitars in it and feel totally confident this will do the job as I am tired of reaching off the wall to get my protected guitars.
I got fed up with cheap wobbly stands so bought this instead. Love it. It's very stable, and guitar is not going to fall over even if a toddler or a dog hits it. The auto locking mechanism is cool, adding to the safety aspect.Jackson Soloist guitar's tuner pushes down on the foam of the locking mechanism a bit and creates an indent on the foam. Not sure what the long term implication of that will be, but so far so good.
Never thought I would care enough to write a guitar stand review but, this one is a life-changer. So sturdy, so well designed, so versatile! Safe for Nitro finish and stable as an ox. The hanging clip design and function is so well designed that it's like handing your guitar off to a trusted friend to hold. That click is so satisfying too. Bought a couple of these for myself and now one for my bestie bandmate too. He was just going to steal my Hercules anyway!
The Hercules GS414B is a very solid guitar stand. I looked at other brands and they didn't look very substantial and I didn't want to risk putting a Les Paul on a flimsy stand. The Hercules gives great support and has a wide enough base that even my German Shepherd can't accidentally topple the guitar. The padding is substantial and protects my guitar from being scratched in the stand. Overall, I highly recommend this stand, especially for those of you with heavy guitars.
I obtained this auto-grip stand two weeks ago . It is one of the most sturdiest 3 point stands on the market. It is for that reason that I was using it for a Vintage Les Paul. At first I was absolutely sure it was up to the task supporting a valuaIble instrument. I do not leave my guitars out .I put them back in their cases. So , it isn't like It was constantly being used .The other day I was using the guitar and noticed a small chip under the head - stock. It was in a weird place and I could not figure out how it got there. Until I checked the other side of the head-stock . Another chip same place other side. The area on the stand is where the head stock contacts the gripping mechanism of the stand. Another chip same place other side. The area on the stand is where the head stock contacts the gripping mechanism of the stand. Even though the area is covered in rubber, look closely you will notice the the area immediately behind the " Auto- Grip " locking mechanism is exposed hard plastic. Depending on the configuration of your guitar, when the head-stock of your guitar is placed in the stand the underside of the head-stock rest directly on this area.. If your mind is set to purchase this stand I would suggest padding up that area so it doesn't mar your guitars finish.I found out the hard way . Maybe I should have inspected it more before using. Other than that I would have no complaints . It is a sturdy stand.
