This is my second pair of Hydromatic Briskers and these fit nothing like the first pair, the fingers are very narrow. I think I might have been sent ladies large, not men's, but unfortunately I threw the packaging away before I wore them.I should have known better and checked, Tredz sent me medium not large Briskers a couple of years ago. It was more hassle than it was worth to send them back, so I gave them away and bought a pair locally. I expect that's what will happen with this pair.

These gloves offer a terrible fit a feel. I think its important to note that Im talking about the Brisker Hydromatic and not just the normal Brisker glove. I recently purchased the normal Brisker and they are a great glove, great fit, very true to size. Not overly warm but work well on cool days. I ordered these Brisker Hydromatic gloves and I honestly there is no way I could ever ride in these gloves. They are so tight I can barely make a fist. The glove offers a terrible feel as well. Its super disappointing that these gloves have not been refined, its like who ever works at 100% has never even tried them on. I can't help but feel that the reviews that say they are great and fit perfect are meaning to review the normal brisker and not the hydromatic

FIT TIGHT.These do not fit like the rest of the Brisker line, I own 2 pairs of Briskers and these fit much much smaller.Unfortunately, revzilla wants $10 to ship a $40 pair of gloves back, that fit nothing like the rest of the briskers. I would love to try to size up to an XL to see if they fit, but I cannot afford to spend another $10 to ship them back. Very Unhappy with Revzilla

I commute all year round, and these are just the right combo of good close fit, warmth and water resistance. The reflective bits are great for road sections, and the brighter colours (Blue or Orange) are indeed very bright - again great for visibility. They're not the ultimate warmest or most waterproof gloves on earth but they're unbeatable for the price.Just ordered my 3rd pair in 6 years they're that good, and BikeTart had the best price online, speedy delivery. What's not to love! Also worth noting their customer service are spot on, quick to respond and pleasant to deal with.
Waterproof & thermal sounds fab. Yes, these gloves achieve both goals but don’t expect these to be sufficiently warm in mid winter. My finger tips still remained cold. The biggest trick is that there’s no liner to pull themselves inside out when you have to take them off mid ride, enabling you to put them on again with ease even if your hands are wet.My biggest issue is that they are very narrow fitting, so can be a struggle to get on initially. The fingers are plenty long enough, the neoprene outer shell soft feeling plush interior are all great for early & late winter. The palms are also made of a waterproof material with neoprene cuffs. All in all they achieve the design brief just consider your size carefully. I normally wear Medium but they were way too tight across my hand , limiting flexibility, so I decided to go for Large. They’re still a tight fit & the fingers a little long but much more flexible when worn.
As it's only October I've not used them below about 5/6 degrees but the Hydro Briskers weren't too hot to wear either. Riding through the night they stayed toasty and kept out a solid 3-4 hours of Welsh rain. There is no padding in the palm apart from the insulation, they're still comfy though and it isn't hard to grip the bars like some bulky gloves. There's silicone pads on the index and middle fingers but they don't work on capacitive touchscreens, only old style resistive ones. The cuff doesn't have annoying velcro but they could do with being a bit longer/tighter to keep overlap with your jacket, albeit certainly not a deal-breaker.Fit-wise they are quite snug so you might want to size up, I'm XL in Endura and XL in these.I've knocked off a star for the ... MoreAs it's only October I've not used them below about 5/6 degrees but the Hydro Briskers weren't too hot to wear either. In all other ways I'd recommend them.
I've had the Brisker gloves and the Hydromatic gloves in the past and but this truly combines them into one! The Brisker gloves have had great warmth and breathability. The Hydromatic gloves have been great in the wet but not always the warmest (they are not meant to have airflow). These gloves fit closer to the Hydromatic gloves which seem a little on the tight side so it takes some extra care to slide them on. If you are on the fence on sizing you might consider going up a size. I'm a solid Medium glove person and I'd stick with Medium. Only issue is that right glove was sewn incorrectly and the thumb is too short. Rendering the right glove useless. Not sure I'll wear the left glove without the right.
These gloves are REALLY comfy. I’ve been using them for 4 months in Victoria, BC for mtn biking and road cycling. Waterproof? That’s a little tough to know because my hands sweat a lot.In light rain from 5C to 10C, these are great. There are no frills. No Velcro, no snaps, no buckles, no knuckle/finger impact protection. Few things toThe palms and grip-sides of the fingers and thumbs is made of a thin, tough, high-friction material. Everything is synthetic so machine washing is fine. They dry reasonably fast in a warm place.I’d say the connection to my hand grips (Renthal Ultra Tacky on my mtn bike) is far above average.Out on a damp road-bike ride, the stronger airflow means cooler hands. These are pretty good down to near freezing. My hands will be chilly ... MoreThese gloves are REALLY comfy. I’ve been using them for 4 months in Victoria, BC for mtn biking and road cycling. These are pretty good down to near freezing. My hands will be chilly but not cold and stiff.Mine were made 01/2018 (purchased late 2021) and do not work with a touchscreen. Newer ones may be better that way.Overall, I am super-pleased. They seem well-made and I expect long life from them.Sometimes an XL glove fits me fine. 2XL in these is just right for me.
I think these are the worst gloves I've tried - and I've tried loads. These are really different to the standard Brisker glove. The palm is made of some terrible plasticy leather type stuff. It is really stiff, bunches up terribly, crushes my fingers and just doesn't work for gloves. I'm guessing they are using a bag within a bag approach for waterproofing, but this doesn't work here The sizing is OK but the cut is terrible. A good bike glove should be cut so it fits best when your hand is curled round the grip. This seems to have been cut for for a hand fully flat. The whole package just doesn't work. I can't comment on warmth as I didn't them out the house.
Bought a couple sets of these gloves as I’ve had the regular Briskars gloves and Love them. They keep your hands decently warm and still give u a good feel for the grips. Unfortunately these Hydrodynamic gloves have a synthetic rubber material for the palm which tore after the first ride. They were used in wet conditions with fairly aggressive riding but never hit the ground and tore at the seam on the thumb. Don’t bother getting the hydrodynamic ones, spend your money on the regular Briskars gloves and just deal with the wet hands.
