I had been using a cheap, generic grinder for a while, and then I transitioned to a beautifully-styled Turkish grinder. However, the game changed entirely when I got this grinder. The difference is immense! It previously took me about five minutes to grind just 20 grams of beans, but now it only takes around 30-40 seconds. The process is not just efficient, but also incredibly pleasing and entertaining.Furthermore, this grinder is versatile and capable of providing coffee for any brewing method. Whether it's for a Turkish jezve, a Moka pot, a pour-over, or a French press, it's not an issue at all! I'm absolutely thrilled with it.

I bought this for Aeropress and V60 at home - only one coffee drinker in the house so can't justify an electric.The grinder is super efficient, I can grind a single cup's worth in ~20 seconds compared to my old ceramic burr grinder. Definitely feels well made and like it will last a *long* time.Cons - it's heavy (so not really a travel grinder), doesn't come with a case or protective bag (I've just re-used my old bag).It also seems to generate alot of static - heaps of grinds and chaff sticking to the bottom of the burr set and catcher. On a positive side, using the misting / water drop technique to ever so slightly dampen the beans before grinding solves this problem.Would buy again.

This is a great grinder, I started in the suggested espresso range (12 to 16) but it was way too fine for my machine and it choked. I have a DeLonghi Dedica EC885. Somebody posted with the same machine and grinder and they were using 19.5 setting so I started there but it was a bit quick and have adjusted incrementally to 18. Using 14 g of coffee getting 28 g out in 27 seconds. Also important to note my grinder is zeroed correctly so when it is on 0 its fully closed, I’ve heard some people say this isn’t the case for them and they have to re-Zero or just account for the discrepancy when they reference the grind chart. This is the one with the grey reference dot (some people said they did a re design, previous version was red dot, redesigned is grey dot). Has a whole ... Great burrset and heavy duty construction. Grinding at espresso level is easy and much faster than my previous handgrinder. Zeroing the grind level isn't quite as obvious as the instructions make it seem but the adjustment level is very precise and repeatable. The grinds are very fluffy with little in the way of clumping. Produces a lot of static though so a squirt of water is recommended to help with that. Matches well with my Coffeejack

It's capable of any grind size you would want from turkish to french press with really small adjustments fit for dialing espresso. The numbered dial on top also means that once you've dialed the grinder for a recipe it's easy to go back to that same setting after changing it, making it very easy to jump between methods.This is exactly what I was after, it's made some incredible cups so far and I don't see myself needing an upgrade any time soon.
I bought this one for my husband, he likes things that work properly. He loved it! He was skeptical, because he is fine using ground coffee but I insisted he try to grind his own. This unit is really easy to use, you can tell it has quality parts inside. The grinding process is easy. Takes a bit of trial and error to find the right setting for your machine, we use mocha pot, had to go down a bit on the dial (for a corner grind) as the suggested number was too fine for mocha pot. Overall love it, and it looks great in the kitchen.
Does everything I need and then some. Espresso? Can do. Pourover? Easy. AeroPress? Yep, easy. Clicks make it intuitive to figure each out, just wish there was a better way of knowing where you are without having to zero, but ah well.Grind consistency is likely to be the only issue with this grinder, but it's subtle. 30g is a pretty good size for the chamber, but some extra space would also be great.
Great shopping experience, arrived within target timeframe. I purchased this after watching the AB YouTube review and am glad I did. It’s easy to adjust and use, grinds very fast (under 30s for 14-15g) and makes great tasting coffee. I’m mostly using it for Aeropress and Stovetop - as an added convenience, the Aeropress lower chamber fits neatly over the lower part of the grinder, so you can grind straight into it. Highly recommended.
Excellent piece of engineering. Very well built. Plastic top may be a weakness, but only in comparison to the rest of the grinder and it seem sturdy enough. Many gradations on the adjustment allowed me to find the right grind. As long as you don’t need Turkish Coffee powder it’s not to difficult to grind a couple of shots of espresso.
As I only make coffee for myself at home, this hand grinder is all I need - it doesn't take up space in my kitchen and grinds for all types.I was looking for an espresso hand grinder for my Bambino after being a long time moka pot and French press user. After much research, the JX-Pro had the best ratio in quality and value. The build is solid and I can see this lasting me years.Grinding for 18g of espresso is quite quick (about just < 1 min). Parts are easy to disassemble for cleaning. It took me a while ( to get the dial to zero in 1 go for the calibration but it gets easier the more you get familiar with it (YouTube vids help).
