I wish this was a Boston shaker. Yeti didn't set out to make a Boston (when you get down to it, that's the only real cocktail shaker), too bad. What they did make is one of the best training wheel shakers ever made. The biggest win with this, the insulated shaker body. If you make more than two or three drinks with a stainless or even glass shaker - the cold is not fun on your hands. So glad I purchased this! I had read reviews of poor fitting tops and this is definitely not the case. It’s a nice tight fit with the gasket. The 20oz is a perfect size for two drinks with ice.The screw on lid works well and the built in screen eliminate loose parts I’ve seen in other shakers. The insulation keeps the ice from melting. Another quality product from Yeti!

Great product !! Made extremely well! I had a previous shaker that would leak occasionally and was very thin. I got this gift for Christmas and is is actually larger which is great you can make multiple drinks in one and the lid has a great seal to make it water tight and the lid doesn’t just sit on top it actually slides on so it doesn’t fall off when you shake it . 10/10 would recommend

Ordered two as Christmas Gifts. Yeti makes great stuff. Really liked that these have seals on both the top and strainer. One was fine, the second will be exchanged as it is very difficult to get the top onto the rambler tumbler. Seams to be the shaker top - maybe out of round, maybe just oversized. Wife is affraid to use it as is.
I really like this handy item - insulated so it does not sweat like my old shaker - just leave the leftovers in for another pour, not watered down at all. Well made top that can sit on a number of different Yeti thirst vessels. HOPING soon for a Martini / Manhattan style cup that is Yeti worthy, wide base, low stem, good volume. Need this idea to assist new shaker.
Very Nice shaker, wish it were bigger. I have not taken out of the house yet so this is home bar review. I love that it doesn't sweat when I leave it on bar with ice in it after I pour. It's also like a shaker with a silencer it's much more quiet than a standard shaker. I do wish it was bigger, two margaritas pretty much maxes it out for single shake and just barely fits. Thats my only negative. 26 ounces would be perfect.
I’m extremely dissatisfied with this product. The lid leaks regardless of ingredients or if pressure is released by unscrewing the small, top lid. Concept is great but it just doesn’t work. This was a small gift for my spouse. He used it three times (reasonable amount of usage within a month of purchase) and can’t return it as I’m a week past the return cutoff date. My error but if an expensive product is defective, it would be ethical to have the right to return. Our small shaker from a discount retailer that cost $7.00 works better.
Love the idea I can use other 20 oz Ramblers with the new cap BUT I bought the whole set up and it does look nice. So far, it’s exceptional. You can mix a drink to fill the shaker, use what you want and leave the rest sit until you are ready for it. While waiting it does not get watered down. Also, no more moisture from the outside like a typical shaker. I’ve had no issues with the top staying on while shaking but I do hold it like a typical shaker with my forefinger on the cap so that should not happen anyway.
We’ve been taking friends comments for using a Rambler tumbler with a MagSlide lid as a makeshift cocktail/martini shaker when we go camping and traveling for a few years now. When I saw this coming out, it was a have to have!Finally released and arrived early September just in time for the last days of summer here in Canada. Great Yeti design, high quality with insulated top, a twist on cap meaning no more banging the cap on the counter to open after shaking. Nice to have a really double duty martini shaker that looks great at home and travels with us. I use the rambler for morning coffee too.
An insulated shaker is most ideal thing ever. Shaking a cocktail with ice quickly chills and slightly dilutes, making for way better drinks, but with a normal shaker it also freezes your hand and then condensates all over your bar space. This YETI shaker looks nicer, feels nicer and keeps all the icy cold in. There's a nice rubber gasket to seal the top on and the strainer cap is threaded on, so it's much better than the standard shaker that just uses aluminum and compression fits. There's enough capacity to make a double and take it with you to share with someone, or pour half now and pour half later.
