DeWalt Bright Ring Nails are a range of steel nails tested to work with the DeWalt DCN692/690 framing nailer, guaranteeing the best level of performance between the nails and gun. Although it has been tested with DeWalt products, these nails can be used with a multiple amount of nailers. These nails have suitably clipped nail heads for any environment with brilliant grip from the very first moment of use. In-line with Eurocode 5 standard. In electro galvanised nails - the coarse zinc particles in the galvanised coating cling more tightly to whatever they're fastening and offer some corrosion resistance. Consequently, they perform well for attaching parts of house trim, decks, stairs and window frames. Hot dipped galvanised nails are passed through a bath of molten zinc and have a heavier coating of zinc than electro-galv nails. They have a stronger barrier against corrosion so can be used outdoors in non-coastal areas. Use stainless steel if there is a high risk of corrosion (eg in coastal areas). To prevent streak or stain in certain timbers (eg cedar, redwood) use stainless-steel nails.
