Foam inside is far too stiff, little better than the seat that came with the rowing machine. As a result, I don't bother to use it even though I paid $40 for it. My wife feels no need to use it either.

The cushion improved the comfort of my rowing machine and even added a little height to my posture making the workout a little easier. I had to adjust the resistance level to compensate. My only gripe, while minor, is that the straps don't secure the cushion firmly to the seat. I think I'm going to have to tape it on to keep it from sliding. Would recommend.

Actually using these on the basic sundolphin scout canoe, and these work GREAT. Fit perfectly around the seats, super grippy, super supportive- worth every penny!
