Excellent shorts. Love the addition of the normal pockets. The rear pocket is great for a key or gel etc. the only downside is the new pockets ride up on your leg while running and bunch up. Not a big issue but noticeable.

The design has gone backwards in the design of the elasticated waistband. Don’t like fabric feel or look of the new waistband. I also have previous version with a more traditional running short waistband though the drawstring on the outside was also annoying. Sometimes innovation and product development takes you backwards and some proven elements should not be messed with.RegardsRob

So yup, nothing fits in the pocket (side not back).That being said, I take tremendous research and precautions when buying good quality clothes. After reading every review, I decided to go ahead for this product....It is simply too good. It will be worth every penny.
