I wear them 3-4 times a week for refereeing and they have not lost their compression, I just needed a second pair when I am unable to launder. Very happy with my 2XU products thus far.

I had these for about a month. I play sports or run every Sunday and needed extra compression to minimise the likelihood of pulled muscles. I used them in place of thigh/hamstrings support wraps. So far, they has worked great. My hamstrings have held up well since i began using the shorts.These compression shorts are pretty well made and seem durable. I will purchase a second pair soon enough.
These shorts were purchased to assist my husband in his recovery after hip surgery. They proved to be very comfortable and offered the exact amount of compression that was required. The fit and compression is good, but still on the snug side.pocket in the front is almost too small to slip the bottom half of a gel pack in. I keep a gel sticking half way out above the top of the shorts. The tag is the back is itchy. Could use a real pocket in the back or on the side.
Fits very comfortably. Good compression but not tight or restrictive. Lots of flexibility. Strong fabric feels reliable.

I weigh 90Kg - 172cm tall and love to run. Stocky/normal build. The Medium is a good fit...tight around my 34 waist...but they don't fall down. An incentive to loose the gut!! They need a quick wash before wearing them but then feel smooth. Large may have been a better choice but then you may be avoiding the "Compression" benefits. They help avoid chaff under the crutch and wash well.
Unfortunately both black pairs I purchased developed a hole really quickly from where thighs rub. I've been wearing 2xu compression shorts for over 10yrs. Just general running & trail running. One developed tear on inside seam on first trail race (100k). The other developed same tear in seam after about 3 sessions - maybe a total of 80k's. Did also purchase another slightly different style of compression short, material slightly different, these ones haven't developed tear in seam. The material on these ones just seems different - really thin(?).
