Went to Australia and visited Tasmania and NSW where I had a few long hikes planned. These leggings protected me from the cold and kept me cool, as well as comfortable. I’m so impressed!
I loved them. The fit is good. There are only two issues: the pocket is too small for many phones, and the upper section does not strentch as much due to the panel. Perhaps the upper part can be a little longer to compensate for that as it barely comes close to my waist. These are not like the other 2XU compressions (feel a bit shorter around the waist). I wore them -15C and I was fine. I felt the cold only a little around my calf, but not on my thighs.
The top of the leggings are a windbreaker material and the bottom is a legging, so be prepared to look like MC Hammer. True story.
Fall is here and it's getting pretty cold in the morning. I purchased these pants because of the material on the front of the legs to protect from the wind. Most comfortable leggings that I own and I have quite the collection. They stay in place and don't ride down while I run.. Definitively will be getting more.
I use these for SUP and they are really great. The "package control" is excellent. I hope your design team starts to think about SUP and that sports needs. These are amazing on colder days, the thighs are windproof with the calfs in their compression material. Nice combo and would love one all windproof. Emphasising package control is imho really important.
Great winter tights - toasty warm at minus 4 on the hills. Fantastic to have the longer length for the taller runners
It protects just enough from windy and cold weather and has just enough compression. If it helps anybody, I am 169 cm tall, 53 kg and have wide hips (96-98 cm seat circumference), and the size recommended here for me is extra small for all the 2XU running tights; however, I always take a small size (S) instead of the extra small(XS). I follow the 2XU size chart instead of the size calculator on this website. The compression might not be as firm as it is supposed to be, but it is enough for me, and I would not be able to put on an extra small for sure - no way.
Finally a pair of running pants with warmth and rain restraint on the quads. I was getting soaked through in all my other pants so more - these are brilliant. I would highly recommend these for anyone who runs in the cold rain.
