I bought this product to restore the water repellency to my custom made patio cover. I applied the product per instructions and let it dry for over a day. We had a big rain storm yesterday, so after the storm I went out to see how nice the 303 fabric spray worked. To my surprise, it's as if I never sprayed it at all. The material actually absorbed the moisture instead of repelling it. Not satisfied at all. Contacted the upholstery supplier that recommended this product and he said I must have gotten a bad bottle of spray. He has used this product in the past with no issues. Is it possible that it was a bad bottle, or did I use the wrong product? So far not satisfied with the results.

The swing chair is comfortable. The directions for assembly need improvement and the location and orientation of the holes on the drawing did not match the product. I figured it out eventually but it took a few trys before I got it to fit together. Which length carriage bolt goes in each hole was not clear in the directions. My wife loves sitting in the backyard on it.Overall I like the end product and is worth the money.The water repellent was is to apply and works well.TJ Johnston

I'm disappointed in the performance of 303 Fabric Guard (30607) on the top of my 2017 Ford Mustang convertible. I expected water to bead on the fabric, much like water beads on the painted surfaces of my car. I expected that water would not soak onto the fabric. And the product met expectations for the 1st minute or so of exposure to water. But, after driving less than 5 miles in a heavy rain, the water did not bead and water appeared to have soaked into the fabric.I applied this product in full sun, with air temperatures in the upper 70's to low 80's, using a pump sprayer, until the fabric was evenly wet / damp. The convertible wasn't exposed to water for 3 days after application.I bought 2 gallons of this expensive stuff & treated my car top & my boat canvas ... I'm so disappointed in this product. I watch video after video of water beading off of fabric convertible tops, and mine still just soaks in. I did everything by the books: cleaned the top with their cleaner, let it completely dry, vacuumed off any leftover debris, sprayed to product in overlapping rows, let it cure for 24hrs... and nothing. Maybe it was outdated? I honestly don't know, but it simply did nothing for me.
The product is outstanding. It weatherproofed my convertible roof with very little effort. The water beads off the fabric. What did take considerable effort was attempting to remove this from the paint and glass, as the useless cheaply made spray bottle sprayed through the nozzle, the joint to the bottle, around the trigger and any other opening. Great product, but for +$30 I’d expect a little more from the packaging. Use it, but pour it into a better spray bottle.
I bought two 16 oz bottles of the 303 Fabric Guard to treat a number of outdoor cushions with Sunbrella fabric. Neither of the sprayers worked!! I needed to transfer the product to a spray bottle I had purchased. You would think that, considering the price of this product, the packaging would function as designed! I would recommend the product but not packaged in this format.
Bought a 32oz 2 pack, the applicators provided are terrible. The instructions say "spray until evenly wet, overlapping sprayed areas" which impossible to do with the lousy sprayers provided. After wasting about a 1/3 of the first bottle, the sprayer plunger started sticking. I tried the second provided sprayer and it was no better. There are several similar complaints, unfortunate that the manufacturer has not improved the provided sprayer. I guess the solution is to buy in bulk and transfer it to a sprayer that works. Several attempts to contact customer service via email and the "contact" page, no response. Don't waste your money on the 2 pack .
This is great stuff for car maintenance. After using the hand tools with my carpet washer to first clean the carpet in my car, this is easy to apply and it helps to prevent soiling from spills, like someone spilling soda while trying to drink during driving. It even helps slow yellowing of the plastic lens for headlights due to its UV protection. No idea how long it lasts. Applied it 2 years ago, and the carpets are still looking good. Probably get some more when I use the hand tools on the carpet washer to clean my recliner to help prevent it soiling from my sweaty bod in the recliner after hard yard work.
