The mask is exactly what I needed! I purchased this mask because I encounter COVID-19 patients daily. I wanted something a bit more durable than the disposable N95 masks that we are issued. I really appreciate that the filters and the suction provided are really secure and form fitting. I've been using the mask for about 3 weeks now and would definitely recommend this product. I also purchased extra filters (which were on the pricey side; but isn't your life worth the extra expense?) because I did not know how the demand would be during the pandemic.

I am one of the healthcare workers dealing with CoVid19 patients and in dire need of these PPEs. Unable to purchase these because of the price. Please, cutdown the price. You need to be considerate to us, healthcare workers helping out unfortunate individual affected by this evil virus and be kind enough to cutdown the price so I can purchase this and protect me while we are caring and fighting for unfortunate patients who were affected by CoVid19. Mask, even at medium size is just enough to cover you and that also is very soft easily deteriorating material. So, if you do NOT actually need this item, at this time, I would recommend waiting awhile until the better made products are available. The cost for this is way to much for the quality, but I needed to use it to paint something and to deal with some asbestos duct work. These masks have been around at least from the seventies, and we used them often doing auto body work, where they did a good job of stopping dust from grinding, blowing off surfaces, and stopping most other dry particulates. They fit better, are not that heavy, and are a bit easier to pass air through than the standard surgical type masks. In auto body, you have plenty of different types of dusts to be concerned about, such as lead dust, fiberglass dust, steel dust, zinc dust, paint dust, brake dust, etc.. I notice some people here are using this mask for the 'black death 19' thingy. I'd double check with the manufacturer about that one. Keep in mind your 'exhaust' from these masks is NOT filtered, others are not protected from what ... MoreGood for its intended purpose. This is my first time buying this type of mask. I bought with 6000 series filters. I found the mask comfortable to wear and not clastrophobic. The filters were easy to attach. The mask fitted well. I used it for sanding the ceiling in the bathroom and was impressed that it was effective in not letting any dust through. I used it for approx half an hour and it still felt comfortable. I am prone to slight breathing problems if inhaling dust etc but had no problem with this.
This is a great product by 3M at a good value with surprising longevity. Fits most crew members without a high bridge on their nose. If thats the case the 6500 or 7100 are a good option. All individuals who wear a respirator should receive a respiratory fit test and PFT from a licensed health care professional for the respirator to properly determine the size and model. #sweepstakes
With the proper filters and a clean shave, I can stand next to a smoker and not smell smoke wearing these 3M respirators. Most importantly, the mask mitigates fumes from painting, and stops harmful particles from fiberglass dust, bedliner application, etc. No other respirator I've used stops cigarette smells, let alone heavy paint fumes. Just be sure you select the correct filters for the job, and again, you need a clean shave for an air-tight seal. These are far superior to other brands, and the selection of filters available is excellent. Well worth the money for the peace of mind, especially when it comes to your lungs.

Now tha package does come sealed but it was NOT machine sealed, it basically had a zip lock type seal on top with the flaps open. That concerned with with the whole Covid 19 pandemic and people Tampering with products prior to shipping, so i used isopropyl Alcohol to clean the outside and inside of the mask prior to using it. Over all i would highly recommend it but i would warn you and advice you to please Pre Clean your mask before applying to your face. That is all for my review and real life experience with this mask.
I'm a emt/ff and being on the front lines of the pandemic is a health risk, especially with a preexisting condition. 3m 6300 half facepiece respiratory allows me to function as EMS. I can breath easily with out slippage or my goggles/glasses fogging and I don't feel like I'm being suffocated. I can breath and communicate without the inability of being heard or the need to readjust. It's simple yet awesome design is proficient in its function and easy to apply. Absolute added protection so I can continue to do what I love, EMS!
Fit is good; air valves work fine; easy to clean, easy to adjust; looks good; lightweight; filters fit good, filters are stock item in most shops, don't have to over-use the filters before replacement. 6300 has good reputation.
