Lenses and frames are one solid piece and are extremely thin and flexible. Temples are made of extremely flexable rubber which makes them very hard to break. They might appear to be flimsy or cheap, but they are extremely durable and they do the job well. If there is one negative thing to say, it is that you cannot wear them over your perscription glasses. A very good deal for the price. I have not yet been disappointed by products from 3M.
