I bought a couple of these monitors on sale and ended up returning them. I was on the fence but I don't need new screens. It's a decent enough monitor. The negatives to me:- At only 300 nits, it's dimmer than my 6-7-8 year old 27 LG IPS 4K monitors. That was a bit disappointing. I did a LOT of research whilst looking for a monitor. I'm not a professional video editor or gamer, I just write a lot of manuals, so a big screen where I can cross reference easily is vital. Tough one to review as it has so many good qualities but I simply can't say that I'm in love with it.I swapped a 27" iMac for a Mac Studio and chose this monitor after researching online.Colours are good but the white areas are not bright enough, no matter what setting it's on. My 2017 27" iMac's 5k Retina display is much clearer and brighter.The screen is matte like the old Mac Monitors rather than being glossy. Some of my creative colleagues prefer this but I've got used to having a glossy screen now. I would have liked to the description to have included a reference to it being matte.The stand is excellent. The monitor is easy to set up. Given the size, I was able to have 4 large windows on the screen at once, however, if you're sitting too close you're going to be craning your neck to try to see content higher up. Overall, a great monitor for productivity and will easily replace dual monitor setups.On the gaming front, the 43SQ700S-W is okay. Refresh speed is acceptable (5ms) but not as good as a dedicated gaming monitor. I tried this monitor with my gaming PC, PS5, and Switch and didn't have any issues with them. Switching between the different inputs was easy too.All in all, this is a really good all-around monitor for a good price. The main selling point is the size of the screen and while you do have to sit a little further back to use it comfortably, if you have the space this is great. It functions well as a TV and a monitor and has the I/O to leave multiple things plugged in at all times. I received a special deal on this product for providing my feedback.
This monitor is amazing!It is a huge monitor and I love it! I can use my monitor for anything, work, gaming and to watch movies and videos. The colors are great, bright and vibrant. I love it comes with speakers that actually sound good.It is a smart monitor, that means you can enjoy different apps and streamings without connecting it to another device but in case you need to, this monitor has several different ports (including 3 USB ports) that will allow you to connect whatever you want, this made me love even more my monitor.Now I spend all day in front of my monitor. Mornings working and in the evenings playing video games or watching movies.I highly recommend the 43SQ700S-W LG monitor!
I purchased this monitor one month ago and it was working great. However, after one month, the panel started to get a complaint. Half of the screen is now black. I contacted the customer service and they said that they would send a technician to repair it. However, it has been one week and the technician has not yet arrived. I am very disappointed with the product and the customer service. Customer service did not add a ticket in LG website so that I can track the repair. I would not recommend this monitor to anyone. The panel complaint is a major issue and the slow customer service is unacceptable. I am very disappointed with this product.

Although it is not by any means loud, it emits a very noticeable, high-pitched, mechanical warbling, and it starts three seconds after the screen turns on regardless of screen settings and usage. There is no way to alter this. Even with my default settings of HDR off and brightness at 30%, it still warbles away. I will say that I'm in a relatively calm environment, but certainly nowhere near silent. What were your design engineers thinking putting such a rubbish, noisy fan in such a premium device? I didn't use the monitor a lot. After purchasing, use it for less than 15 times. After the first few times, I started having issues with it.I use it as my laptop's extended monitor, first I found the brightness and contrast of the monitor cannot be tuned. After submitting repair ticket, I only receive an email directing me to a website which didn't help at allAt daytime, it's too deem and at night, it's too bright. Later on, I found after my laptop went to sleep mode, and monitor is down. When my laptop is back from sleeping, the monitor cannot get back to work. And nothing helps unless I re-plug the power supply.Such a bad experience with a new purchasing. This is my first LG product and it left me a very very bad impression of LG products - poor quality.
