I did have a long thought before purchasing this power meter. Even if its one of the cheapest it took me long before I bought it. Don't get me wrong, cheap doesn't mean poor quality. This is accurate and reliable. The battery last around 100 hours which is great. The installation its very easy, just make sure you buy a shimano crank instalation tool which is around £2-3 brought from Sigma as well. I highly recommend this power meter.

I've ridden a few hundred miles with this now and I'm very pleased. Easy to setup and calibrate. I've been riding with power using a smart trainer for a while now but riding with power outside has really taken my times and fitness to another level. To remove my old crank I needed a tool to remove the dust cap (Park Tool BBT-10.2) and an allen key for the bolts on either side. Then to install this I used a torque wrench for the bolts and replaced the dust cap. I'd watched a couple of YouTube videos on the installation process before my delivery arrived, so I can't comment on the quality of the instructions that come in the box.Once installed it paired with my iPhone instantly after rotating the crank a couple of times. For the last couple of years I have been a fairly indisciplined user of TrainerRoad and Virtual Power over the winters, using heart rate and RPE outdoors. I decided that I wanted, no I needed a power meter and after some research chose 4iiii. I found the ordering process and delivery to be very good. Installation was simple and I’ve now done about ten rides and so far I’ve been very impressed. Pairing to my Wahoo Tickr and downloading to their app as well as Strava and TR has been without hitch. The power meter functionality is what I expected and I am enjoying understanding and getting a feel for different zones, it has already helped my pacing on rides and also hitting specific zones. So far I am getting quicker, isn’t that the point, and I’m confident that for ... MoreFor the last couple of years I have been a fairly indisciplined user of TrainerRoad and Virtual Power over the winters, using heart rate and RPE outdoors. I bought this three weeks ago as my first experience of using a power meter. Set up and installation easy just follow the steps and in 15 mins your up and running. Connect to head unit and see how much you really put down onto the pedals. Now watch the Tour de France and see how much power these guys put down and now you see where you need to improve. No really just joking,This power meter will give your more than most amateurs will ever need, it’s there to help you improve as it does not lie what you see is what your putting down.It really helps you improve after even a week or so you will start to see how stable you can keep your power output. You may never reach the Tour de France guys but you will be your mates to the coffee shop.Highly recommended this ... MoreI bought this three weeks ago as my first experience of using a power meter. I have been using a smart trainer through the winter and see great improvements with my power output so I thought why not carry this through to my road biking. The 4iiii Power meter ticks all the boxes for me. Easy to fit to the bike, easy to link to my Wahoo computer and easy to use out on the road.I find that by using the info I'm working harder on the flats and not blowing up as quick on the hills.
Having always wanted a power meter, I thought it about time to get one to at least pretend that I know about cycling. I was recommended this product by a friend and am so glad they did. It was incredibly easy to fit and set up myself. I was impressed with the price and quality, the product coming in a well designed box with instructions printed on it in addition to the leaflet inside. I would definitely recommend this to people wanting to know if they can power household appliances
Using this power meter for two months now and having never had a power meter out on the road before I have to say it has changed my cycling. I own a smart trainer with an in-built power meter so was always very curious as to what I could produce in 'real-time' on an outdoor ride. For anybody interested in TT I think its a must have item. The power readings track the smart trainer pretty closely just reading 3-5 Watts higher (depending on effort) with the smart trainer being accurate to +/-2%. Its definitely 100% waterproof after possibly THE wettest ride I have ever done (over 6 hours) a couple of weeks ago. It sailed through everything that has been thrown at it without a problem, connects to my head unit ALL the time, no drop outs no issues, just works. ... MoreUsing this power meter for two months now and having never had a power meter out on the road before I have to say it has changed my cycling. Calibration is a piece of cake, takes 10-15 seconds before each ride and away you go. As a starter and probably the only power meter I will ever own or need, I cannot recommend it highly enough. Also, no one will ever know you have one on your bike unless you point it out, the strain gauge unit looks like a little cadence sensor stuck to your crank. The battery life seems fairly decent 77% left after two solid months of riding approx. 1200km. Just cant fault the thing.
In fact I mistakenly ordered wrong crank length, and 172.5 was not available in ultegra, so swapped for dura ace, sigma exchange process was smooth, fitted the dura ace, and all working great
After looking everywhere and reading lots of reviews on power meters I opted for the 4iiii precision. Very easy to fit and set up with the 4iiii app, makes updates to the power meter very easy and gives you the % of how much power the battery has left, you'll get about 1 hour of cycling per 1%. Power figures seem pretty accurate along with cadence. Having just completed the 2018 Ride London 100 I can confirm that the battery compartment is waterproof. The only slightly annoying thing is having to zero the power meter before each ride but I'm not going to mark it down for this.
