Good toy. Teaches them about space and patience
I bought this as a present, however, I had the opportunity to help build it. The quality is appalling, took two adults to put it together (despite 5+ age guide). The mechanism itself was ok, the solar element, its not really clear if itll have much effect (as you need a battery in there, I assume the solar panel will in theory charge the battery). All the rest of the plastic feels cheap and despite spending a lot of money on this present it felt like Id bought something from the pound shop. I cant recommend.
Perfect way to learn about the solar system and being powered by the sun. Great interactive tool .
This toy is too hard fora 5.5 year old. We could hardly put the screws in and attach wires and it did not work . Putting the earth together was very hard . The child lost interest as it was far too difficult !!
