This kit we bought for a Christmas Present for our 8 year old Granddaughter. It must have been liked she wanted to start doing the experiments straight away in amongst all the chaos of the Christmas unwrapping. I am sure they will enjoy doing them after the holidays.xx

I bought this for my Grandson, age 7, for Christmas and he should be the one filling in this review really but to me, it looks great. It was easy to order and arrived promptly from the Science Museum, well done to youThe only reason I haven't given it 5 stars was down to the packaging that the Science Museum added to post it out to me. Unfortunately it was just wrapped in a posting bag, and whilst taped tight to around the box, the packages was insufficient to stop the box from being damaged in transit. This was especially disappointing as it was purchased as a present.
Bought as a Christmas gift and when we opened the kit is incomplete. It doesn't have the materials to complete experiments 1 to 19. 20 to 42 are there in the kit. Completely absurd why there's no quality check done to make sure all material is present. Kid is really upset as she wanted to do experiment.
Just sent to my granddaughter for her birthday in Feb.,but,I know she'll enjoy the items with her inquisitive mind that likes to be challenged.
Cons: The age as stated in the advertising did not match what was on the box
Great overall product. Instruction booklets are excellent and easy to follow. Lots of cool, easy experiments for my son.
