The 5.11 Tactical 1.75" Double Duty TDU Belt provides versatility and durability in one efficient design. This nylon belt is reversible, giving you two color designs to choose from for a given situation. The easy thread belt tip allows for quick donning and doffing, and the micro-adjustable buckle is non-metallic so the belt won't set off metal detectors. This makes the belt EOD safe and ideal for wear during air travel. Five rows of stitching deliver maximum stability, and the nylon material is rip-resistant to hold up under constant use. Well constructed and easy to wear, this duty belt fits well and can hold up to the demands of your job.

I bought one of these belts about four years ago and currently wear on a daily. The fit is good, the material has kept it's rigidity and the material has even begun to fray. I recently bought one for my son. I also like that you have to different color belts in one depending on the uniform for the day you just have to flip it. The construction is spot on and I'm sure it will last me years to come.

These guys talking about how the buckle doesn't work. Mine works great. I don't think you guys are wearing it correctly, or we're talking about a different belt. Mine's never had an issue. Like the description says, I'm able to micro adjust it for exactly my size, instead of having to select a hole that's a little too loose or one that's a little too tight. It's always Goldilocks for me...just right!

Needing some gardening pants as the Spring planting season arrives pointed to 5.11. Although some shipping delays, no one's fault, I was immediately pleased with the pants. This was the first time that I purchased from 5.11. I had to research what is an "EDC" pocket; the pants has two of them :-)The fit was exactly what I needed. Having an expandable waist is helpful when bending in the garden. My only suggestion would be for one or two deep pockets without a flap allowing tools to be easily placed and removed. Would I purchase another pair of these pants...you betcha'.

Excelent belt. I use it with abr pants and it's tsa compliant. Great option for dinamic shooting or outdoors activities.Great for holster and mag/admin pouches.Must say that the recomendation of one size more is excelent. NumberIt has no metal part. The buckle it's very strong.Must have.Ahhh you can really use both sides it's perfect (two in one).
I have purchased 3 of these belts. They last about 2yrs or so and that is wearing every day. This last one I bought because I had some how misplaced the mine. I bought the XL being my waist is 38 . I can tell you it’s too big. I wish I would have just stuck with the Large.XL works but it just doesn’t hold pants up as tight as the Large. You can’t get enough of belt into buckle .
I purchased the XLG and it runs about 50" in length. My waist is 36'' so,..you can see I did get a little to large Belt for myself but,..you cannot blame the Belt and you sure do not want to cut this kind of belt with the Leather- tip. That would be the second "Dumb" move on my part. I like this belt so much I did not send it back for a replacement. I reckon I can use the extra length someday if I ever need a "Toe-Strap" to help[ me out of a tight spot while Hunting. This would work for sure so,I'll just hang-on to my XLG.
I was tired of leather belts sagging and coming unstiched. I tried Duluth Trading and Old Navy and more for leather belts buy all disappointed me. I wear a belt 7 days a week and every day is a work day doing ranch work or metal work or some thing or another. I bought one of these, not paying attention to which brand it was and not caring: I had just been dreaming of a web belt. That was around the end of 2017. Over 4.5 years later it is still my daily belt. It hasn't come un-stitched, it barely has a sag, the buckle is still 100% functioning, and it's not frayed...zero issues or complaints.
The belt is high quality and I'm sure it will last a long time under serious distress. It's likely strong enough to be used as a recovery strap for overland vehicles if it was long enough. HOWEVER, the buckle flimsy by comparison. Made of plastic. And it slips as you're attempting to tighten to fit appropriately. I returned it because of the buckle.
Loved the webbing. Thick and strong! Very adjustable as you're not limited to the placement of buckle holes. I did find it a challenge to tighten or loosen "on the go". You can't just pull on it or lift the buckle to loosen. You have to kind of fudge with the main belt. Check out the video 5.11 has to see this in action. I do like it and it's my go to for many situations. It did not slip at all... stays out once you get it here. When I had to change it, its a bit of project.
I have been wearing this belt almost daily for literally 5 years and it has stood the test of time. I have never even contemplated needing another belt, this has been with me longer and more consistently than any other apparel item. It's still incredibly durable, despite some wear to the tip edge (which experiences the most abuse), but the fibers at the edge can easily be remolded with a lighter. A much better tightening system than center holes. Can't recommend this enough, honestly very grateful for it.
