These are excellent quality pants. Not cheap here in Canada, but very well made. I like the fit through the seat and thighs and accessibility to the pockets. The Flex-Tac material ensures the pants look good in any position and more importantly feel good in any position, seated, kneeling or standing. However I am not as happy with the length. I bought 34x34 and the initial length was good but after a couple washes following the washing and drying instructions the 34” inseam has shrunk to 32”. They are now high end flood pants. At $129.99 each in Canada, that kinda stings. And that’s why they aren’t getting more stars. If 5.11 wants to help out I’ll give them 6 stars.

I've been wearing Stryke pants as my everyday wear for over 10 years now. The last "batch" I ordered was several pair and it appears the Quality Control on them has gone downhill. The measurements on the pants are simply not consistent. Some pairs have the inseam 1-2 inches longer than it should be (and I did check the label). I understand there may be variation between pants but after having dozens of pairs of these for well over 10 years, I've never seen variation like this. They also seem to fit a bit "longer" than they used to. One pair fits right. The next pair I'm literally walking on the backs of the pants. The knife pocket sometimes has 1 inch between where it clips and where the end of the clip is hidden and protected behind the pocket flap, and sometimes ... MoreI've been wearing Stryke pants as my everyday wear for over 10 years now. It looks like some quality issues have crept their way into the product. I hope they sort this out because I truly love these pants. The tunneling waistband design is my absolute favorite and I wish they used that design in more of their pants instead of the "stretchy" sides. For myself, I'm a small guy so the fact that they have sizes to fit me has always been awesome, so its a big deal when they are starting to fit bigger and bigger. They are perfect for everyday wear, awesome for CCW when carrying AIWB due to the waistband design. They are sturdy and seem to last a long time. I bought pants somewhere around 2011-2013 and I'm still wearing them today and they've been through alot. I finally wore a pair out. Sometimes the tunneling waistband starts to wear and the pants get loose. Love the pants. Hope they work out the QC issues.

Purchased a pair of storm 36x34 stryke. I am a home energy auditor. In attics, basements, crawlspaces. Only worn one week so far and I like them. The cargo pockets are slim and stretchy. The legs are a little baggy. My s21 with an otterbox does not fit in the two front pockets. Kinda wishing it would have. Also find them to be too deep for their width. The regular side pockets are excellent, deep wide, reinforced. Have a knife clipped and can still get my hand in. Back pockets good. Large. Like the velcro, everything is very slim. Would recommend the back and cargo velcro pockets could maybe be tucked in? All in all I love these so far. Looking ar getting another style. Maybe the ridge.

This item may be pricey but I PROMISE you as a USMC veteran and an outdoor enthusiast it is well worth it. Around 2017 I purchased a pair and took it with me into the service. I used this for lots of personal training, going out on liberty, and even on rigorous hikes. It did not fade until around 2 years and even then did NOT fade much. I climbed and repelled Mt. Miakura over 15 times, Mt Fuji 2 times, and they held all the way until 2023 where they material finally gave out on the inner thigh area. I even recomended this item to other marines and civilians that eventually gave in and bought a pair with no regrets to this day saying it was very comfortable without that nerdy military look. Its pocket are practical with organizational pockets so you generally know ... MoreThis item may be pricey but I PROMISE you as a USMC veteran and an outdoor enthusiast it is well worth it. For the price tag I was shocked how low quality the design is on these. Don't get me wrong, the pants are comfortable. The material choice is a lot like Crye's 4 way cordura. However the overall design on these fall short of way cheaper tactical pants.-Cargo pockets too small (Compared to Tru-Spec 24/7 Lightweight series or Crye G3s)-Front "dip" pocket too small (Opening is too narrow, can't reach small items at the bottom of the pocket. Too narrow to fit any phone, barely fits a dip can)-Opening on the regular pockets is too low (Wasted half the storage space of the pocket, if they brought the bottom of the opening up and moved the other end towards the crotch it would have worked better)If you want to look tacticool while working your office job then these ... MoreFor the price tag I was shocked how low quality the design is on these. I use these pants for work. I am an automation technician where it can get oily, greasy, dirty, and claustrophobic. These pants have outlasted other name brand work pants! I usually get nicked by screws but these pants have not even one hole on them yet! (Have had them for 3 months so far). I usually have to be in akward positions which can cause the crotch of work pants to rip, these are stretchy and light enough to not even notice the tension in the seams (which do not limit my mobility as compared to other pants). The pockets in the front are amazing when needing extra tools of carrying bolts or nuts when I am in a tight area. The material is breathable enough to dry quickly. Pockets hold really well and best of all... after they are washed, I hardly see any ... MoreI use these pants for work. Good quality, light weight, everyday pants or work pants. The waist is nice and stretchy for fat guys like me. The flex waist also makes IWB carry more comfortable. Plenty of pockets for all your EDC stuff. Nice wide belt loops fit wide 1.75" belts easily. I've got a Kore Essentials Garrison gun belt and a Grip6 Workbelt that both pair really nicely with these pants. These pants are pretty pricey, but worth it if you're picky about pants and want something other than jeans. If I had one complaint, and this is purely subjective, I wish the two large thigh pockets had Velcro on the inside of the pocket so the flaps could be tucked into the pockets. That way the pocket is just an open pocket with no cover. Almost like a thigh dump pouch. I had a pair of Duluth pants ... MoreGood quality, light weight, everyday pants or work pants. I have worn these for about a year and these pants are dramatically better than our standard uniform pants. My two main complaints: the knee pad pocket is a bit too high on the knee. They sit exactly right while standing, but when you kneel the pant legs naturally ride up so the knee pad only partially covers the surface of the knee that touches the ground. Item two, the inseam is a little high for my preference, wouldn't mind a bit more room in the groin, particularly when getting in and out of the cruiser frequently, things get crowded, especially when wearing extra layers in winter. That said the mobility and clean look might be impacted by the room so to each their own. I ordered pants a size larger, width and length, to compensate for these issues with mild ... MoreI have worn these for about a year and these pants are dramatically better than our standard uniform pants. Otherwise, the water resistance, large pockets, pocket angles, flex waist, clean cut, mobility, breathability, and light wind resistance make these pants a great choice. The flex waist in particular is nice as extra layers and food babies does punish you all shift.
Purchased a few pairs when they were on sale to replace my issued Flying Cross pants that were beginning to fall apart. The "cut" is awesome. The fabric is awesome. I feel so much more agile, comfortable and rugged when wearing these compared to the Flying Cross...which felt like baggy business slacks with cargo pockets sewn on.I do wish the pants came in half sizes...We'll see how they do long term...I have about 80hrs in one pair and the areas where my handgun and tazer holsters rub the pants are already getting a sheen to them, which is expected but surprising to me that it happened so soon seeing as the fabric feels very durable. Color fade is also a concern but only time will tell.Overall I wish I bought a couple more pairs at the sale price...great pants ... MorePurchased a few pairs when they were on sale to replace my issued Flying Cross pants that were beginning to fall apart. The "cut" is awesome. I have worn many different brands over the last 27 years, but this is the first negative review I have felt compelled to write. I was issued these by my employer or I would be sending them back for a refund. They are not true to size (run small). The EDC pockets are a joke. The front open thigh pockets are not big enough for a cell phone or a rifle mag and too small to get your hand in. If you try to use them for spare handgun mag, the mags pop out as soon as you squat. The leg cargo pockets have an opening for pens / knives, but once you put one in, you can't access the pocket without pulling the pen / knife out. Also, the pockets inside the cargo pocket are hit or miss on sizing. One pair will hold your gear, but the same gear won't fit in the same pocket on ... MoreI have worn many different brands over the last 27 years, but this is the first negative review I have felt compelled to write.
