Belt Quality and construction are what I would expect from 5.11. I have learned however that I prefer the regular belt instead. The end of the belt has to be threaded back through the buckle and then velcro'ed to itself on the side. Just a little too much for effort for someone who has gotten used to the regular belt.

So I've bought this peice of clothing before. I had this same belt only bigger that I wore all the time. On duty and off this belt just does a better job than any other on the market. It features a thicker material that holds shape well.It can be a bit clunky for wearing with regular cloths, but if you wear much on your belt, this support is a MUST.I found it worked for EMS, FIRE, and Law enforcement. It's not really a top belt for all your batman accessories, but it certainly never stopped me from using it as one without an inner belt.It just does it all so well. For the price it's worth giving it a shot.

Heavy duty belt. Sturdy enough for concealed carry or duty carry. Still prefer heavy leather belt for carry purposes but this belt will also work. Not the easiest belt to undo due to the Velcro hookup on the free end but it is the most secure belt I have ever had. Unlike some of the newer 5.11 web belts the buckle on this belts works great and it’s easy to adjust for tightness with no slippage. The buckle on this belt appears to be steel and is heavy enough to be used as a weapon.

The quality of construction is excellent, unfortunately I ordered large which should have been the correct size based on all belts I have purchased in the past and the length is to short for the velcro to catch properly. I would return for the XL but your return policy does not cover free return shipping and thus it is not cost effective for me to try the next size up. This policy will most likely limit future purchases due to costs of shipping and fear of needing different sizes..
I have been wearing this belt every day for a few years now. I've had a problem that I thought was caused by my dogs jumping on me or the blackberries I have on my land or something. I have a bunch of little holes at the bottom of every t shirt I own. Turns out the the top edge of the buckle has a sharp edge and any time I''ve leaned up against something or carried something or did anything that put pressure against the buckle, it put a hole in the shirt.I would have given this belt six stars at it is otherwise probably the best belt I've owned. But it's ruined a lot of shirts from races I've done and concerts that I've been to and whatnot that can't be replaced. And now I won't wear it. I wish I'd figured out the issue sooner.
My brother works in Corrections and uses the same belt. He has had it five years or so, he said. I was asking him about belts because mine had just broken. He told me about 5.11 Tactical and showed me the belt and how it worked. I was impressed. Five years is incredible to me. Thinking of it. You could buy 40 belts from a big name store in that period and break everyone of them if you're a big active man. I received the belt shortly after I ordered it and immediately I liked it. Easy to put on. Easy to adjust. Has a clean look to it. I'm impressed. If I end up needing another belt. I'll have this site in mind. Also will be suggesting it to friends.
I thought I had lost my last tactical belt on a work trip so I ran out to the 5:11 store to grab a new one before taking off again. Picked one up for myself and my husband and hoped I would like it since I didn’t have any other options. Turns out that I had not lost my last belt, but it did go into the donation pile with this one as it’s replacement. Love this belt. Adjusts easily, secure and does the job. Doesn’t dig in like the donated belt and has good rigidity. I’m sold. I also see my husband wearing his frequently and he is also really pleased with this belt. Recommend.
Honestly the best belt I've owned in years. This is the second one I bought (first was in black). The velcro keeps the belt in place without having to relay on the spacing between holes being the correct size for you. It will fit perfect and stay in place. My only complaint is it tends to dig into your lower abdomen. it'd be nice if they offered it in a 1" size as well. Still an absolute great belt.
I bought this after getting my CCW. It’s been an excellent belt for someone that carries a concealed handgun. There’s no holes to mess with, the velcro makes for easy adjustment and the belt material is tough as heck. The paint on the buckle wears a little but seriously who cares.
This is my second 5.11 Tactical belt. The first one was a Large and it is too big, so I ordered the Medium, and it's almost too small. I have a 34" waist, so I'm at the minimum size for the Large and at the maximum size for the Medium. So the large wraps all the way around my waist and interferes with my holster and badge. The end tab on the medium, with the hook Velcro, barely reaches the loop Velcro. I will have to take the belt to a upholstery shop and have them remove the loop Velcro and move it closer to the end of the belt so that the hook Velcro can catch onto the loop Velcro. Pretty frustrating to pay this much for a belt and have these issues. I would bet that a 34" waist is the most common size, yet no belt is designed for that size. I'd switch brands, but ... MoreThis is my second 5.11 Tactical belt. The first one was a Large and it is too big, so I ordered the Medium, and it's almost too small.
