A genetics test revealed my daughter was deficient in this amino acid (plus folate and B vitamins). She was feeling very anxious and depressed. Within 2 weeks of adding this supplement, her mood changed and she was feeling back to happy self. She doesn’t complain about the taste and she can be picky. Helps me go to sleep but does not make me groggy in the morning
I ordered the 5-HTP drops hoping they would help me either fall asleep sooner or stay asleep longer. They did both! I am getting back into a healthier sleep pattern and waking up feeling less exhausted in the morning.
Tastes surprisingly sweet like concentrated sugar. I haven’t taken it long enough to know if it works or not.
