I use blowers to dry the cars after washing, to dust off RC cars and trucks after running them and to collect garden or DIY dust and waste. This one seems very efficient and runs on 18v batteries I already have for other Dewalt power tools, so I don't worry about it running out of power half-way through a job. The choice of a long or shorter nozzle is helpful and the attachments for inflating or deflating airbeds etc are a good inclusion. It is light enough to handle and easy to use. It is worth getting a battery of at least 3 amp hours as a bare minimum and 4 or 5 is preferred, if you wish to use it for extended periods without recharge.A great little blower that works as expected and hopefully will be reliable. I’m decorator by trade, I’ve used this to tidy up dust and debris on exterior jobs, saves so much time rather than using a dusting brush, broom and a dust pan. Being lightweight and cordless it’s also great for blowing dust and debris out of render crevices/cracks up on scaffold or ladder when a electric supply and access for a hoover is limited. Also, use it tidy up my patio at home, much quicker and more fun than sweeping.Wish I bought this years ago!

I bought the Dewalt blower as I had a drill that uses the same charger & batteries and I’m glad I did.It is powerful, compact & light. My batteries are both 1.5Ah and so the run time is not great when used on full or medium speed, but I knew this could be an issue when I bought it as my batteries are pretty low capacity so was expecting to need more battery capacity.I have since bought a 3.0Ah battery and so should be able to do all I need now.My uses are clearing leafs from patio & flower beds & also for blowing off debris from from my off road RC buggy in between races.

Recently bought this small DeWalt blower as my Sthil petrol one is in a long queue waiting to be repaired. I had a DeWalt impact driver and drill set with XR charger and two batteries, and it made sense to get this little blower while i wait for the Sthil petrol one to be fixed. It works well at the top full speed when used to clear leaves, dried moss and small pebbles from hard flat surfaces such as patios and garden paths, but not powerful enough to remove trimmed grass from lawn area or wet leaves. One full charged battery didn't last longer than 15 mins on full power as on the lesser setting its not powerful enough for garden work. Yet, instead of broom sweeping entire patios and paths, it does help with two battery charged.
This is definitely a handy piece of kit to own. Especially if you are already using DeWalt 18v tools and batteries. You don’t realise how much easier the clean up of your job site is, are until you’ve used one.It is more than powerful enough, for the jobs it is designed for.If you want a leaf blower to clear your massive gardens and drives, buy the appropriate size tool for the job.Don’t buy this, then moan about it after.Reference the whinges that stat, it doesn’t come with a battery or charger. Read the description’Bare’!
The dewalt Dcv 100 18v Xr compact blower ,Light Easley to use, for the garden, the work shad for the dustUsed for the car to dry off the water, as well , before the wax .Good all round blower for drifent jobs, battery used a 4.0 AhTime to finish all off work. (A lower batter will run down fast )That's why I got a 4.0ah to last my jobs.
Purchased as a present for son-in-law to keep his new driveway clear of leaves and lawn cuttings. The blower was much smaller than I expected but it works very well and the light weight is a bonus. My old mains powered one needs a shoulder strap to take the weight. Ideal if you already have other DeWalt tools. If not, perhaps consider other models supplied with batteries.
Bought this to use mainly as a leaf blower, what a disappointment. Even thought the power is probably there (I used a 5ah battery), you can't use it because the nozzles provided are too short and too thin to use for blowing large piles of leaves. It did manage a few loose ones, but any pile and you're better off raking. Other than that, the air intake is just the right place that your leg keeps blocking it, and the angle provided by the grip isn't the best. Would be suitable for workshop/van dust/woodchips
I’m extremely happy with this purchase of this Dewalt blower. I used it today to dry my car and on setting 3 with a 5aH battery it done the whole car no problem blowing all the water out the hidden areas. Well pleased with it. The attachments that come with it are very useful for directing air at a more precise area yet still powerful. Definately recommend this blower dont let the size put you off its more than capable
Was quite surprised when they brought the box out to me, was a lot smaller than I expected it to be, good things sometimes come in small packages. Was considering taking it back for the bigger dewalt one, but when I tried it I was quite surprised how powerful it is. Perfect for what I need, not sure about battery life as I have only had a mess about with it chasing the dog and messing up my wife’s hair at the moment. Put my 9ah battery on it off my chainsaw, so probably last a while, hopefully won’t overheat it if used to long
