I purchased the DeWalt Split Boom system because I already have their power tools with the same batteries. This attachment is OK but could be better. I have to agree with the first reviewer that the cutting width is not 19mm. Also the angle locking mechanism seems to have more play than I would expect. Having owned the Stihl Kombi system prior to this I have to say that DeWalt should have "designed" one like the Stihl or Milwaukee equivalents and charged a little more for a better quality hedge attachment.Having said the above the 54V motor unit is a beast and seems well made.I would still recomend this because it is usable and like in my case if you already own DeWalt kit then its better to stick with this. The other attachments seem fine.

Misleading description by Dewalt and on box. It implies this item has a 19mm cut however the blade guides are only 10mm apart making it impossible to cut anything lager than 10mm and not able to tackle larger branches that it claims in it's advertising.Do not buy this product it's useless and absolutely a waste of money.Contacted Dewalt and they were no help at all and denied this is a manufacturing fault
