-【1-5 Stops ND2-ND32 Variable】K&F Concept ND2-ND32 variable filter is intended for long exposure and motion blur techniques in changing light. Reduces light intake from 1 to 5 stops without affecting color balance, suitable for mid-day or mild sun conditions. - 【24 Layers of Nano Coated Optical Glass】This ND2-ND32 variable filter, of K&F Concept Nano-Dazzle series, is made by HD AGC optical glass, a total of 24 multi-layer coatings help repel water and dust, effectively reducing reflection from the filter itself and glare. The surface of the lens is oxidized and sandblasted to effectively prevent stray light from entering and slow down the reflection of the metal surface. -【Ultra-thin Frame】For the K&F Concept ND2-ND32 variable filter designed with an ultra-wide-angle design, the ultra-slim frame is only 7.4mm and the surface is designed with CNC trapezoidal pattern. Helps increase friction over a large area when rotating, making it easy to install/remove lenses and other accessories. -【No Vignetting】Due to different lens types and focal lengths, the filter may appear a black "X" cross, but with continued rotation, the shadow will disappear naturally, which is a natural physical phenomenon caused by the rotation of the adjustable ND lens. -【Choose Right Size】This ND2-ND32 variable filter from K&F Concept is compatible with all 58mm lenses. Your camera's lens thread size will be marked somewhere on the lens barrel or printed underneath your lens cap. This number is always preceded by a "ø" (diameter) symbol.

In this way, soft water structures can be created with relatively bright light or soft clouds in the sky, etc.pp. I didn't really notice stray lights or reflections, but I'm reworking something like that on a PC anyway. The price of this product is high, but considering that it covers several filters at once, it's not too bad. However, the general question is what kind of filters do you really need. I've had an ND8 and an ND1000 so far. Sometimes an ND 4000 would have been required (to safely create “deserted” objects/spaces).However, I find the concept here really innovative and practical.

Upon inspection they are quality products and fit on the Air 2S camera with just a small twist to lock in placeAttached is a video showing the unfiltered camera and then as a comparison each of the 4 different filters.I'm not a videophile and to my eye all the videos looked excellent. From no filter to each of the filters I could discern no color difference or video acuity between them. All the images looked excellent.I did see one difference however. Ive also read that some videographers like to use a filter in order to slow the effective shutter speed of the camera with more light attenuating filters and provide motion blur in the video. I did see motion blur especially with the ND 32 and ND 64 causing a blurring effect when the camera was panned. Conclusion: For me Ill just add a filter for the polarization and to protect the camera lens. But I found that each of the filters was excellent in maintaining the video quality and providing motion-blur.

I'm really digging these new filters that K&F are releasing. The magnetic filter system is a great idea for strong ND filters because I often need to compose my shot without the ND filter attached (because it's much easier to see through the lens without it) and then attach it to take the shot; being able to simply snap the filter on to the front of the lens takes a lot of the hassle out of detaching and reattaching the filter. The optical quality is superb, with excellent clarity and barely any color cast. The build quality of the metal rings is solid; they are smoothly machined with smooth edges and nice knurling. The rotating ND filter turns smoothly, with hard stops at either end of the spectrum so you know when you've reached the limits. The magnetic ... The rotating ND filter turns smoothly, with hard stops at either end of the spectrum so you know when you've reached the limits. The magnetic attachment holds the filter in place snugly but it's probably best used in controlled tripod setups where you know the lens won't be bumped; I definitely wouldn't use this in any kind of crowd situation where someone or something could knock the filter off, because it wouldn't take much of a bump to cause this to happen. There's no lens cap included, presumably because the extra weight of it would make the filter too heavy for the magnets to comfortably hold. K&F does make a magnetic lens cap, which I got with a different K&F filter set, but it doesn't fit on the outside of the ND filter because the outer ring is larger than 77mm. However, the magnetic lens cap DOES fit on the inner ring so you could use it when you're not using the ND filter. As far as I can tell you can't buy the magnetic lens cap by itself, only bundled with other filters. This filter is easily comparable in quality to those made by Tiffen. It's fairly priced, and I would definitely recommend it for tripod-based landscape photography.

In order to be able to capture colors more realistically and in more detail, you have to increase the shutter speed a bit without overexposing the images. With the K&F Concept ND filter, the brightness can be reduced very easily and in a very short time. The 58 mm version is ideal for screwing onto Canon lenses. It is a pity, however, that the cap for the lens no longer really fits.At the slightest darkening, the adjustment lever is at the bottom right and is pushed upwards, at the highest darkening, it points right up, which is very easy for me as a right-handed person to use.I think the results speak for themselves. I'm still a long way from being a professional, but it allows you to capture and capture really intense colors. For almost beginners like me, who likes to try out everything possible, the filter is great to use and absolutely great for sunsets here on the Baltic Sea beach (but of course also where there is no beach). The included case for the filter rounds off the package really nicely. It is therefore well protected whenever it is not mounted on the lens and with the pull strap, it is also elegant and easy to unpack from the case. The leather case has a hidden magnetic closure, so the filter will definitely not fall out of the case unintentionally.Overall, a great filter that, with its results, makes you want to move on to the next, stronger levels.
This is a good adjustable neutral density filter with no problems I can see. It uses K&F's special coatings to help repel dust, water and fingerprints. This filter has a magnetic attachment system, there is a magnetic ring (with no glass in it) you screw onto your lens. Then whenever you want to use the ND filter you just pop it on and pull it off magnetically, making it easy to change. The system seems to work well, but it's the only one of their filters I have which features it. By rotating the filter you can go from ND2 to ND32, or 1-5 stops.A lot of people wonder what this kind of filter is for, basically it lets you get some different effects when you are shooting in direct sunlight. By rotating the filter you can go from ND2 to ND32, or 1-5 stops.A lot of people wonder what this kind of filter is for, basically it lets you get some different effects when you are shooting in direct sunlight. For example, you can open the F-Stop of your lens all the way to get a shallow depth of field effect, then use the ND filter to darken the image back down so it is exposed right. Another common use is so you can shoot with longer shutter speeds in bright light. This will allow you to get that effect where moving water has a soft motion blur on it by setting a longer shutter speed and adjusting the exposure with the filter. It's also very handy for shooting video in bright light. Using a high F-stop and shutter speed for this can give you a video that has no motion blur and appears to stutter when the camera pans. The ND filter can allow you to shoot with longer exposures which will give motion blur and a smoother more cinematic look when panning. So overall a very useful filter to have if you do videos or photos outdoors in bright sunlight.
One of my greatest concerns when purchasing this filter was its wide focal lens performance, which I can understand is challenging due to light physics. After testing on my Sony PZ16-35 lens:- At 16mm focal length vignetting is not usable and needs to be cropped.- At 17mm it is very light and hard to notice, very usable to me.- At 18mm I can't see it at all and looks great.I uploaded 5 images to this review (pardon the high ISO, as I tested the filter at ND32). Focal lens of each pic: 16mm, 17mm, 18mm, 19mm, 20mm.I am keeping this filter because I don't think I'll be able to find a filter that accomplishes no vignetting at 16, but I wish companies were more upfront about which exact focal lens their filters support well.
This Magnetic Variable ND Filter is a great option for those who travel, take pictures outdoors and who would like to capture an image at lower settings which cameras are incapable of without ND filters. This particular filter gives you a range of options which simplifies what a photographer has to carry. For those who regularly shoot in conditions which they cannot plan around (such as harsh sunlight), this gives more options within your control. It arrives with a protective case and a magnetic adapter ring so that you can simply remove the filter if you wish to shoot without it. However, the downfall to this is that the ND filter can be bumped off (which did happen to me while setting up a photo and my camera swung forward) and with this adapter on you cannot ... However, the downfall to this is that the ND filter can be bumped off (which did happen to me while setting up a photo and my camera swung forward) and with this adapter on you cannot mount your lens hood on your lens.On a bright and sunny day, I was able to capture an image at 1/50, f/2.8 ISO 100 at the ND2 setting. I attached a screenshot of the straight-out-of-the-camera RAW files, with the bottom image being no filter. Each setting produced the same image with one exception; the images with the filter on appear to have slightly more contrast to them. This could be due to the fact that I cannot have my lens hood on, causing the filter-less image to be exposed to the harsh sunlight. Or, it could be an effect of the ND filter itself. Either way, I do like the effect and would recommend this filter.

I come with a long history of taking photographs with filters for special effects. I have used Cokin systems where you can share one filter with various lenses with adapters. That is great timesaver as my shots of landscapes or sunsets sometimes requires swift framing and adjusting to rapid light changes.ND filters are an investment to your camera gear. These will filter out very bright light and allows the photographer longer exposures during daylight. My favorite use of ND filters is to have water movements look silky while capturing the surrounding in detail. This K&F Concept filter is built amazingly well. The glass is better than my Cokins. Since it is built to specific lens size diameters, I had to rationalize which lens I used the most and ordered that size. 58mm in this case. The case is a worthy vault for this filter. Kudos to the team that designed that feature. The magnetic ring screwed nicely into my existing lens. In fact, it screwed in too tightly, it took me 10 long minutes trying to unscrew it later on.The magic is with the magnetic technology. Wow! It was instant on and instant off for the actual ND filter. Amazing. With that also comes the fear of dropping the filter. I fear that a bump will dislodge it so I kept my hand on the lens at all time. If you are in stationary setting, you should be fine. This lens filter is a great tool for many future vacation shoots. Simple to carry and use.Do note you cannot place a regular lens cap over the ND filter. Bummer.Overall, I love the new direction that these ND Filters are headed. It is less fuss and more time spent on the actual shooting pictures. Give this a try. I do recommend this variable ND filter. 4.5 stars.
Having a lot of camera equipment such as strobe lights, key lights, speedlights, umbrella, lenses, extra batteries, tripods and many other things. Wow I can't believe I use so many things just to get the photos that I want. Adding lens filter on top of all these is just.... what a hassle. This variable ND filter and magnetic adapter ring kit are one step in the right direction. It's very easy to put on the magnetic adapter ring kit. Once the ring kit is secured, attaching the variable ND filter is very easy. It's a convenience that this filter god from ND2 - N32, 5 stops.Hint: Make sure you pick the right filter size. If you have a collection of lenses with varying sizes, pick a higher size. You can buy a separate adapter to downsize.
