These pots are gorgeous and high quality, I am talking chef quality. They even work with induction top stoves! Completely non-stick making clean up a breeze. From the thick glass lids to the hybrid technology pans themselves you will be so impressed. I do not want to ever use another pot again. They are a generous size and accommodated my dinner party with ease. I was also very impressed with the packaging of the pots, they come boxed separately with bags on the pot and the lid so you can use those to store them after each use. I use the pots way to much to need them, but could be useful to some.

This beautiful pot and pan set is exactly what you need for your kitchen! If you love to cook, this set is for you. First of all, each piece comes in its own nice storage bag. Each piece has an attractive chrome finish with gray accent colors. The hex pattern is clearly visible on the inside of each pot and pan. It looks great. The materials that these are made with is high quality and are very durable. These are going to last for many years. This is not a cheap set of pots and pans. Cooking with these items has truly changed the quality of my food. Everything seems to heat up fast and evenly to provide a quick and tasty meal. Cleanup is easy as well. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with this set.

We purchased this to expand our collection and to replace the rest of our cookware after testing the starter set sold at costco for nearly two years. We have used, and wore out several upper-mid level brands of cookware over the years. Hexclad has impressed us. This cookware heats evenly and with use of a small amount of oil or fat rarely sticks. Granted this cookware is not as non-stick as brand new calphelon, t-fal or faberware - but it holds up so much better than these and other brands we have used. Even with primary nylon and some wooden utensil use, and dishwasher jet (not scrubbing) cleaning these nonstick products began to show wear after 6-8 months of daily use. This cookware uses less fat or oil and heats more evenly than our stainless steel cookware as well. This is testament of our long term trial of the related pans. New cookware above a certain quality mark is almost always better than the set it replaces… so yes, these pots are awesome, the two year old pans are still awesome too - and in my mind that is the greater accolade. Our previous experience with multiple brands of cookware that cost 70% what the hexclad does, we replaced those at 3-5 years. With the current lack of signs of wear, I anticipate 10 or more years before we consider replacement. In the long run it is cheaper, and better.

At almost 59 years old I have owned a lot of cookware in my life. I cook at home 29 days out of 30 each month, sometimes 30 out of 30, so I USE my cookware and wash it every day. I can say without reservation that Hexclad is easy to use in that it doesn’t have the weight of my Le Creuset and Staub pieces (nor the heat retention though) and stands up to what ever utensils you use, unlike Le Creuset/Staub, and very nearly cleans itself because the surface is so incredibly non stick! This is to say nothing of the beauty and quality craftsmanship of the pieces. The detail is just gorgeous in addition to being functional. If you’ve ever sliced a finger open on the lip of a pot because they didn’t meld the plies together (I’m looking at you Williams Sonoma house brand ... MoreAt almost 59 years old I have owned a lot of cookware in my life. If you’ve ever sliced a finger open on the lip of a pot because they didn’t meld the plies together (I’m looking at you Williams Sonoma house brand Hestan) you’ll appreciate the care that has been taken with the rims of these pots as well as their pans. In my opinion, Hexclad has fused artistry with function and utility to create a truly durable, practical, beautiful collection of cookware that is superior to anything else I’ve used in that category. I still love my Le Creuset for soups and Dutch oven dishes, but I’m Hexclad all the way otherwise. Highly recommend!
Comes packed very nice. It feels like a whole experience just opening the box. Everything comes in its own bag and is packaged tightly so it doesn't move around. It does have a paper with care and use instructions. You do need to season these before first use. They are dishwasher safe and after the first two times using these I have been dish washing them ever since with no problems. They clean up very well. They are also oven safe up to 500F. The care instructions say metal utensils can be used and I have used both metal and wooden with no issues. The papers even say you can use steel wool with no issues but I have yet to use that. Over all I would say this is a great investment, especially if you cook most of your meal at home.
Let me say I have never imagined cookware like this. I love my cast iron pans but this is a whole new level. First, this is actually dishwasher safe. I am shocked! Of course, me being old school, I will have to learn to allow this to happen. Second, cooking in these pots were a breeze. I didn't have to use as high of heat that I normally do. I fixed mashed potatoes and was able to achieve boiling temps on medium-high. Right out of the box, I seasoned as stated in the instructions. No foods stuck to the pots and they were easy to clean. These pots and their lids are made very well and have good weight to them. They are thick and the design is very sleek. I am very impressed with this brand and this cookware.
I would not consider this cookware non stick. It does however sear food very well as good as much less cast iron pans. Everything sticks to it but it does clean up well and much lighter than cast iron so in that case this cookware should be considered easy clean not nonstick. I can see the ware on this surface anlready after just 5 or 6 times using it. Can’t see how this would he advertised as lifetime warranty because after the surface is completely warn out it would be considered as normal ware tear and that is not covered. In that case I can’t see spending all this money since you could buy three or four pans of just as good performance for less money. So in this case I would say it’s not worth all the hype.
Not sure how every review is 5 stars but it must be because no one has ever received a gift or had to contact customer support because if they had there’s NO WAY anyone is giving them 5 stars!!!!! It’s absolutely ridiculous that there’s no way to talk to a person, although that would be fine if I could resolve the issue via email. We are now 10+ days past Christmas and still no resolution or even any progress. I received 2 pans as a gift for Christmas. After checking out the website I decided I wanted to purchase a complete set because I’ve been wanting to replace my cookware anyway, but all sets have the 2 pots I was gifted. I obviously don’t need 2 of the same pot so I wanted to return the 2 I received for credit to use towards a set or maybe have them just deduct ... MoreNot sure how every review is 5 stars but it must be because no one has ever received a gift or had to contact customer support because if they had there’s NO WAY anyone is giving them 5 stars!!!!! I obviously don’t need 2 of the same pot so I wanted to return the 2 I received for credit to use towards a set or maybe have them just deduct the value those 2 pots towards the purchase of a set and ship the remaining items. I was completely open to literally any other suggestion as well but customer service basically said I gave NO OPTIONS other than keeping the pots and then making an additional purchase. They don’t offer credit or returns for gifts. Apparently they will only credit to the original purchasers credit card. I’m not going to ask someone to give me money for a gift I want to return. How rude!!!! So much for great customer service!!!! What company doesn’t want to make additional sales???? You’d think they’d be happy that after research I want an entire set. I’m sure some other company would be more than happy to take my money!!!!!!!
I love these pans and pots. For me the only flaw is they easily discolor. It is simple to correct and clean up. That being said... these are not your typical "nonstick" cookware. Not teflon or lightweight pans, this is a non-stick version of cast iron only prettier. They are a cross between non-stick & cast iron. Heavy, even cooking, lower heat is all you need to get most cooking done and yet, they can handle high settings for the "stirfry" & quick "sear", they are also amazing for the "fried" foods like fish and chips! The higher temps heat the oil to an optimal temperature for frying. We did follow the instructions for seasoning and noted the mention by the company, more uses the stronger the "seasoning" becomes. We have used metal utensils, no worries there. ... MoreI love these pans and pots. For me the only flaw is they easily discolor. The handles on the lids do stay touchable for most of the times I have used them, but on higher heats, they can get quite warm. I have found all this to be pretty much as represented.Have heated and "burnt" to the bottom a couple of things like soup & eggs, put a bit of water into the pan and the "stuck" washed right off, no scrubbing required, back to the “non-stick”, this is the pretty much part.Use Barkeep's for the discoloration and a scotchbrite scrubbie to remove it & rinse, it cleans right up, no scratching. For my needs & expectations, I am very pleased with this cookware & I happily recommend it to others looking for the same, a heavier, even heating, mostly non stick, long lasting cookware. Nothing to rub off or wear off as Teflon seems to do.I have tried others, like Copper Chef and found them to be a disappointment, very lightweight and not suited for all the types of cooking I do. HexClad is expensive, but if they give me the next 20 years of excellent performance they were worth every penny. If you are someone who likes “Teflon” type non stick, lighter weight cookware, this will not be your cup of tea.
Heavy duty 6 piece set of cookware. Comes packaged very nicely in cloth bags inside of white looking gift boxes. There is a 2 qt, 3 qt and 8qt all with glass lids. They are made of stainless steel and a nice looking blue ceramic non stick. You are told to season the pots before cooking to get the non stick cooking experience. They are dishwasher safe and oven safe up to 500 degrees. You can use steel wool for cleanining, however, I let them soak for 20 minutes and they clean up easy. They are scratch resistant and won't wear down when using metal utensils. They are also heavier than pots I am used to using. You will never need to replace these pots. They seem to be as long living as cast iron.
