I love the 2 drawer concept. It is great for 1 or 2 people. It is much more efficient because you can do smaller loads, and always have clean dishes. I also do not miss that big door that drops to the floor. I love my drawers. They are space savers, as well.
Very quietease of use
I bought my first Fisher & Paykel dish drawer years ago. I would still be using it but when I changed my range to stainless, I bought my new Fisher & Paykel dish drawer in stainless. I have found the drawer to be the most efficient, versatile way to use a dishwasher because you can fill one and still have another to start filling. Or you can use both at the same time and clean delicate items in one and dirtier, bigger items in another. The new F & P dishwasher is quieter than my old one and also the top drawer is deeper than the bottom for larger platters, etc. The entire unit is about 2 inches taller than my old one to accommodate the deeper drawer but it fit into the normal space under my counter. I love it!
I've had mine for about a year and I love it! It's a game changer and I couldn't go back to a traditional dishwasher. Washes great, is quiet and I don't have a stack of dishes next to the sink waiting to be loaded.
My husband and I are empty nesters and usually don't have full loads of dishes to wash so the dual drawer works out perfect because we can do smaller loads.This dishwasher is super quiet especially for those watching TV.
There is no tank for salt -- the wash cycle leaves a lot of limestone behind
At first glance or in comparison to other brands, this dishwasher may appear to be a very expensive model. While it may be a little more upfront we've owned ours for over a year now and we are very happy with it. One of the best appliances that we've ever owned.
