I have this set for 2months now and I absolutely love these pans! Just remember You need to season them before using for first time ! And if ever anything sticks, you can clean them with steel sponges and season it again!! With Hexclad, you can use steel spoons without damaging the coating (unlike other non stick pans). Its very easy to clean and steel sponge can be used for cleaning. It’s dishwasher safe and oven safe as well! Its expensive but you won’t regret buying it. Worth the money!!

8", 10", and 12" Pans are really good, the 10" and 12" lids arrived DAMAGED!!

We're still in the early stages of usage but I'm trying to put them through the test. My 17-year-old son likes to use the 8" pan to make his omelet and over easy type egg dishes. The 12" Wok did wonders on the large Salmon with Penne pasta dish I made. The only discouraging moment was when opening the 7 piece box and observing the 3 lids, I noticed the 10" and 12" lids were damage with dings on the edge. The 8" lid was good. It was visible, I didn't need to unwrap and see these faults. My guess is that they were damaged prior to packing them up since the packing layout ... MoreTo actually see the pan up close was exciting, using the pans so far has been a good experience, I'm learning how to gauge the application of heat to the pan in comparison to my older set of pans. I reported the 10" and 12" lids through the warranty option you provide on Saturday, September 17th, 2022, HexClad Support Ticket #170677. I really don't like that I received the damaged lids on a product that cost as much as it does. The QC has to get better, hopefully I'm a "one off" cause I was planning to purchase the Pots too. Please contact me (646-533-5815) about replacement 10" and 12" lids. They're not laying flat around the edge of the pan, so I don't have a complete seal to hold the steam in. Other than that I liking what I purchased. Thank you. M.H.B.

IF people will properly season their HexClad pans and skillets, they will have the most amazing experience with this cookware.I have several pieces of HexClad cookware that I use on my induction stovetop. The combination of induction cooking with HexClad's nonstick cookware produces delicious tasting, attractive food with reduced energy usage because the cookware doesn't require a lot of heat to get hot and it mains the heat well. The largest burner on my induction stovetop has hot & cool spots (it's one of the original induction range tops and is a bit old). I put the HexClad pan on the burner, turned to medium-low, and let it sit there heating up for about 4 minutes. The pan or skillet will be evenly heated and no longer do I have to deal with the hot/cool spot ... MoreIF people will properly season their HexClad pans and skillets, they will have the most amazing experience with this cookware.I have several pieces of HexClad cookware that I use on my induction stovetop. The pan or skillet will be evenly heated and no longer do I have to deal with the hot/cool spot problem! Everything cooks evenly, no matter where it sits in the cookware.Clean-up is a breeze. Nothing sticks in the cookware because I properly seasoned it before I started using the pieces. It would be my recommendation for HexClad to send everyone who makes an online purchase the video of the guy in the blue shirt who begins with washing the new skillet and then demonstrates how to properly season the pan with avocado oil. The video is interesting to watch and he is interesting to listen to. I wish that I had a name for the guy in the blue shirt. I do know that he's not the CEO -- I've seen that video, also, and it's not as interesting to listen to, unfortunately.I cannot say enough good things about this cookware! It's attractive to look at. It is easy to cook with. It's amazingly easy to clean. It is well made. It is not inexpensive, but neither is a Rolls-Royce and in my opinion, this is the Rolls-Royce of cookware.I have several pieces of pricey, well-made cookware, but once I purchased HexClad, it IMMEDIATELY became my favorite because of its nonstick properties. Again I reiterate how important it is to properly season the pan!If food is sticking then you probably did one of two things: you either cooked on too high of a heat setting or you didn't properly season the pan.To properly season the pan, place it on the burner, turn the heat up to a little under medium heat (my induction range top cooks hot, so for me it was the 4th heat setting out of 12 -- as I say, mine cooks hot). Let the pan sit on the burner for 2 to 4 minutes and get the full pan evenly heated. Then, put 1 or 2 ounces of avocado oil in the pan. With a rubber spatula or a wooden spoon, constantly move the oil around ALL parts of the inside of the pan -- especially the bottom -- for about 4 or 5 minutes. Let the pan cool, then use a paper towel and wipe out the pan. If you want it really well seasoned, do the exact same thing another time or two.Your pan is now properly seasoned and your food will easily come out of the pan. (Your food will slip out of the pan as easily as Bambi slipped on the icy pond!)After the pan has cooled, give it a couple of swipes with a soapy dishcloth, rinse, dry and put it back in the attractive cloth bag it came in.This will be the last cookware I'll ever need (of course I'll add to my collection as they add pieces) and it will be able to be passed down to generations for other cooks to use -- no exaggeration, it's made that well.

These pans do need a bit of oil to be truly non stick but as I believe oil is a flavor enhancer this is not an issue for me. I LOVE that you can use metal utensils with these pans. It means I can allow my food to brown before flipping it. I get a great sear on a piece of meat, and beautiful browning on fried potatoes. I have not mastered scrambled eggs yet so I use a different type of pan for that. They clean up nicely and can go directly in the oven. I use an induction cooktop and they work better than any of my other pans in this situation. (less clicking, more heating) I highly recommend these pans for the even heating, and they are well made and way more attractive in person than any photos can convey. I can’t speak to longevity yet but I’m hoping they will live ... MoreThese pans do need a bit of oil to be truly non stick but as I believe oil is a flavor enhancer this is not an issue for me. I first used this griddle at a friend's house. I asked them about it since I was so impressed and they told me where they bought it. I spent the next several months trying to decide if I really needed or wanted new cookware. I finally decided I was worth it. We bought the 7 piece set of 3 different sized griddles with covers along with the Wok for Christmas. The cookware arrived well packaged. It is beautiful, of excellent, sturdy quality, cleans easily and looks like it will last a very long time, probably the rest of my life. We use at least one of these griddles every day and after 2 weeks, they aren't showing any sign of being used at all. They are pristine. My Money's Worth and More

I waited to write a comment until I had put these pans through their paces and now I have. I can say, without hesitation, that these pans are superior to all others. They are solidly constructed, heavy without the punishing weight of cast-iron, very easy to clean, and, if you follow HexClad's directions regarding seasoning prior to first use and lower heat, the food is perfectly cooked from eggs to steak. I believe some people are using a dry pan to cook, for instance, eggs but that is where they fail; some ghee or a little oil is still required to get the excellent results you have a right to expect. I have not had a fail in all my uses of these pans and I make eggs every single morning. A good woman loves a good deal. I don't mind spending the money as long as I am getting what I pay for. I unequivocally avow that I am getting more than what I paid for. I know I will never need the lifetime guarantee because these babies will be there for the long-haul, but it doesn't hurt knowing HexClad believed in their product enough to offer it. The question now is who will inherit them because they will out-live me I am certain.

The first thing I ordered was the deep frying pan with the cover. I love it! I wish it weren’t quite so heavy, but the surface and the stay cool handles are awesome. I found out that you have to cook with less heat using these pans. Once they get hot, they really hold the heat. And, it’s nice and deep, so when I make sauces, I have plenty of room to stir without going over the edges. I haven’t cooked anything with more than medium heat. But then by adjusting the heat down a little, I was able to bond with the pans and create my usual masterpieces. On a scale of 1 to 10, I give them a solid 9.5. The weight is the only thing keeping it from a 10. The fact that you can use metal utensils is also a BIG plus. Overall, NOT disappointed!

Not super impressed

When I opened the Box I was extremely impressed by only impressed by how professionally packaged they were. After washing and seasoning them, I was not impressed at the non stick capabilities of the skillets. When frying hamburger for dinner the 1st night everything seemed fine. When making scrambled eggs and omelets the next day the eggs were constantly sticking and tearing to the bottom of the Pan. For what I paid for this, I did not expect anything to stick to them at all. After many cleanings and seasonings, I just am not that impressed with certain things. When making shrimp fried rice, and beef fried rice, the wok seems to work perfectly.. Even the sticky, syrupy sauces sauces I used for chicken and beef stir fry did not stick to the Pan. Maybe there is something wrong with my large skillet and I just need to get another one.

They emailed me for a review like a week after I purchased the 7 pc set, come on HexClad, people need some time to evaluate these things! So I waited and after 6 months after purchase and near daily use (we cook a lot) I'm please to say that so far, so good, They are very well made, no screws that need tightening on a handle or anything like that (we're talking rivets here). They have a great heft to them and feel very solid. The nonstick factor, well that can be a personal thing, what's nonstick to one may not be nonstick to another.Overall, things cook very well and evenly with little oil (always use something, you won't be cooking a chicken breast on any pan without some kind of fat and expect it to be moist and delicious). Ad for non-stick with eggs ,I've had ... MoreThey emailed me for a review like a week after I purchased the 7 pc set, come on HexClad, people need some time to evaluate these things! So I waited and after 6 months after purchase and near daily use (we cook a lot) I'm please to say that so far, so good, They are very well made, no screws that need tightening on a handle or anything like that (we're talking rivets here). Ad for non-stick with eggs ,I've had the best results using cooking spray - oil or butter tend to be a bit challenging there but I could care less to be honest, a little egg skin is a breeze to clean up on these pans anyway. Speaking of cleanup, usually a stiff brush or scouring pad works fine, I've had to use steel wool once when I seared some BBQ cutlets (it was the sugar in the sauce) that gunked it up pretty good, but it cleaned up fine and look no less for the wear.Bottom line, a great set of cookware and with the lifetime guarantee, not sure you can go wrong. I'll be buying some of the additional pieces here soon as needed.

Now if you look at all I have bought you’d understand that Suggest to every one your great cookware.I’m extremely happy with everything but on piece. It’s the round grill pan. I have seasoned it like everything else. But when used after it’s used the worst thing to clean. The raised edge just doesn’t clean. The raised edge should have been as the cooking surface. The surface of the pan always looks burnt and it won’t come off like all other pans. Please help me figure this out I do pancakes on it every day. And yes I understand and follow Med or lower. On my duel burner it’s on only 4-4.5.I’m the only cook so I know my pans don’t see and more then medium.Like I said earlier I love it all it’s just this pan I can’t leave hanging on my proud wall Hex product.
