This is not a good tequila. I like to try different tequilas blind without seeing a review when I can. This is one I wish I researched. It is cheaply (but not cheap) made as evidenced by the cotton candy after taste..if I had know it was a celebrity tequila I would have probably avoided it. They all suck other than...The Rock, Kevin Hart, and probably George Clooney...but even those have their flaws...overall the 818 Tequila Resposado was one of the worst tequilas I've even tried.

Absolute trash tequila. The grossest thing I’ve ever had, possibly ever. Who likes this stuff? I would open a bottle and pour it down the toilet. Horrible just horrible. I want to say people haven’t had tequila before? But these reviews make me think people have never even had alcohol before? Smooth?!!!!!! What’re you talking about? And I know it’s low grade because I had very little and it still gave me a HORRIBLE MIGRAINE

It just became available to us here in St. Petersburg, Fl. I was excited to see it and try it after all the hype. We got some at my bar and I had some tonight with a guest...I am a proud fan of the whole Kardashian bullsh*t, judge me idc. However- this stuff is horrible.We tried the blanco, reposado, and anejo. Aaand, this is is probably the worst tequila that I have ever tried in my life. They are all ridiculously sweet and are more like cordials… perhaps something you’d add to maybe like a coffee? Maybe an espresso martini? Nothin you wanna sip on, or even shoot.Wasn’t really expecting it to be something spectacular, but was hoping for much muuuch more. Still a fan of her and her fam, but this stuff is no good.

Definitely worth trying!!!

This tequila is definitely worth a purchase and a taste! Everyone’s preferences vary — as can be seen by these very polarizing reviews — and tequila is one of those categories in which people either love or hate a brand. I personally love 818. It’s very drinkable and can be dressed up as a cocktails or just had over ice. There’s a reason this tequila was winning awards at shows before ever being revealed as a brand/who the owner is: the contents in the bottle are TASTY. Try it and love it (or dont). If it’s not your thing, then you don’t need to repurchase ever again :) But if you love it, then you’ve found yourself a new great staple for your liquor collection!!!

I was pleasantly surprised

I did not know Kendal Jenner was involved until watching a housewife commercial about one of their shows talking about it lol. I enjoy drinking very good quality aged tequila, preferably ones that have a natural subtle sweet flavor. My friend brought me this 818 as a gift. She owns a “dive” bar and said all her customers love it. She didn’t know if I would like it once I drink very good quality tequila. Well, I gave it a try and I loved it. I really enjoyed it. I was very surprised. Then I found out the price, wow, it’s not as expensive as the others. I plan on stocking this with my other tequilas.

It made me an avid fan of reposado

Before trying 818, I had never been a fan of reposados. It is so smooth and delicious, in contrast to the other reposados I had tasted, which were more bitter and grittier. We were all really taken away by its quality and flavor when I brought this to a family meal last weekend. Fantastic.

Overall, gross.

Worst tequila ever. I am originally from Mexico. I have tried many tequilas from all ranges, but this tequila is bad. The quality and the flavor are horrible. If you want to have the worst hungover then drink this tequila. Tastes like rubbing alcohol, and quite frankly this is an offense to Mexico and the craft of Tequila. I thought Kendall would have better taste, but sadly she doesn’t. Sorry girl, but do better.

Sophisticated and Enjoyable

This is really excellent. The aroma is quite fresh, with toasted undertones and vanilla undertones. The flavor is complex and extremely clean. finish that is about as long. Very drinkable when unopened, but even better with one or two ice cubes. The haters on this website make me laugh a lot. Relax and savor this exquisite liquid.

There are many better brands available; don’t waste your money.

I bought this ‘tequila’ without knowing the name behind it. It is 100% blue agave, but the taste is ruined with fake vanilla and caramel taste additives, likely an attempt to smooth the taste of a traditional blanco. What they ended up with is a syrupy, chemical harshness that is difficult to swallow. At this price point, I expected it to wow me, not regret the amount of money I spent.

Vanilla-flavored Marshmallows

Tequila like this is decent for what it is. It tastes deliciously earthy and marshmallowy, which is great in a drink. Tequila purists would not enjoy this tequila because its flavor is not typical. There may be additions, but they are good additives. Although not the most authentic, this tequila nonetheless tastes delicious. It has a bit of sweetness without being overly sweet, powerful vanilla marshmallow, and earthy agave. This is something that would have pleased even someone who dislikes tequila.
