A Court of Frost and Starlight by Sarah J Maas

I really enjoyed this book, though I wish it was longer and had more details. I like how she touched base about every character after the war and just end the series with wings and ruin. This series is so good and I simply couldn’t put it down!!! I highly recommend. I also wouldn’t skip this one and just go to silver flames. There are some small keys parts between the characters in this book that play into a court of silver flame.

Will recommend these books until the day I die. As an avid reader it’s not always that you’ll find a book that will leave you with a book hangover and with so much feeling that you want to explode. This series does that. I have reread it multiple times and it is probably one of my absolute favorite series I have ever read or will ever read.

I read this whole series in less than a month. I have so many questions, so much has been left unanswered. It honestly began to fuel my live for reading again and I’m now onto the crescent city series. I read the entire series in 27 days. That’s 2,580+ pages in a month. I haven’t found a series I’ve liked that much since like 9th grade. I think I may start the series all over again lol

This was a fantastic, gripping, and whirlwind of a conclusion to the ACOTAR series. I could not have thought of a better ending because every single thing I wanted to happen, happened and it was written so beautifully and with such grace that kept me enthralled enough to read 200 pages in one sitting – which is no small feat for me.The character development that happened, both from watching these characters from the first book to this one and from solely watching them through this book, was tremendous. They all endured so much, truly learning from it. It actually made me feel so proud of them and their accomplishments and sacrifices.In this book, I really appreciated getting to know Rhysand’s people better. In A Court of Mist and Fury, I felt a little detached from them and barely knew them let alone remembered who they all really were. However, going along with the character development, the group grew so complex and vital and I was so glad to get to know them. They all had such big, unique personalities that were so interesting to learn. I really want to reread the other books just so I can pay attention to them more since I really hadn’t in the beginning.The love that flourishes between all of the romances is so pure, as well as a certain character’s intentions in the end when he chooses to help. I was so touched by all of them. And Feyre and Rhysand give me life, my soul is built upon the foundations of their love. I will forever root for them no matter how much I adore Rhysand. The world would end if they weren’t together.Maas’s writing style is also something to behold. I hung from every word like the pure trash that I am for this series. The sentences flowed so smoothly and were stung together so delicately that it felt like she put she so much time and dedication into every single word. She does tend to use ellipses and dashes an obscene amount, and use a key word of the following sentence, and then finish the thought behind that word in the sentence. I had never noticed that until it was pointed out in a few booktube videos I watched, so I’m sorry if I just pointed it out to you!But really, in general, I find the whole world Maas crafted to be so deliciously dark and whimsical. The creatures she designed to cause turmoil are straight from nightmares. Every part of the world is enticing, and I really want to learn more. I need a guide to Pyrthian.I am so sad to see this beautiful series end, but I hope the novellas will at least somewhat fill the void it left in its wake.

Fave book of the series!!

this might be my favorite book in the series! it is more lighthearted than Wings and Ruin which was really refreshing. it is also told in multiple POVs which I really loved. 10/10 absolutely would recommend. i finished this book in a day

Great end to the series

Sarah has written another great book!!! Although it doesn't have much action in it, it ties up so many loose ends and made finishing the series so much easier: and after the thrilling shock at the end of the ACOWAR it's nice to see how the characters have settled back into life. It isn't a necessary read unless you want to read Sarah's new book but who doesn't love more Rhys, Feyre and Inner circle content. It also makes you soooooooo eager for the next book which features Nessian because well....if you read this book you will know :)If you haven't read this series...DO IT. You will not be disappointed - especially if you loved Throne of Glass and Sarah's amazing world building abilities!

Just lovely!

A Court of Frost and Starlight was very enjoyable,. It was a great way to wrap up the story of the first three books. The different POVs allow readers to enter the minds of the Inner Circle, and Nesta to see how they were coping with the aftermath of the war. What I loved most was reading about Cassian and Mor (in their POV chapters) and seeing how they felt about their family, choices and lives. Bonus: The hardcover for this book and the others are absolutely stunning!

Not worth the price

This was like a really long version of "what happened last time". You know how a book series might have a page dedicated to what happened in the last book (which is super considerate). This was an elongated version of that. Should be an online PDF for free, not printed out considering how tiny and lacklustre it was.We learnt nothing new about any of the characters. Oh, Amren likes gems and doesn't drink blood anymore. Oh, Cassian is still moping around about Nesta. And Azriel is just confused about life generally.Nesta was fun to read this book, and the only reason this book is rated two stars. Having an insight into her obviously severe depression was interesting - even though the entire time Feyre is hailed as a saint and that Nesta should be kissing her feet. ... MoreThis was like a really long version of "what happened last time". And because she's obviously suffering from PTSD and can't be around other people much, that means she's not a 'team player' and should be shunned from the family.BEHEADED. Yet the credit goes to Elain who touches flowers and I think has become an alcoholic.You can't complain that someone has a poor attitude when you're literally refusing to be nice to her and constantly want to remind them of their shortcomings. I wouldn't want to hang out with Feyre and her lot after this book either. If you're going to make a 'good' group of people, make sure they're not actually being bullies first.

The comfiest read

This book is honestly such a cosy read! It felt like I needed to make a hot chocolate & read it next to a fire during Christmas time! I know a lot of people skip this book because it's so small however it packs a punch!! A lot of the information that you find out in this book is relevant to the next so I'd definitely recommend not skipping it or you may be confused reading the last book.

Wonderful Christmas Episode book in this epic NA series

I said what I said! It is the Christmas episode! This book is shorter then all the other books in this series, novella size, and it has all the hallmarks of a series novella. We and our fave characters get a respite from heavy plots, and major struggles, and get to take a minute to rest. I love a novella.- NA Fantasy, fantasy romance
