I am loving my new mattress ! I had a mattress in a box what a waste of money that was ! It was like trying to sleep on a wooden board never again. So I went back to A. H. Beard mattress from Appliances Online and now I can sleep all night again, even with bursitis in the hips and arthritis in my back.Can’t recommend this mattress enough ! And from Appliances online I got a great deal plus almost next day delivery, the guys delivering were so helpful too. I really couldn’t have done better anywhere else.

This mattress is great quality and we love that it's Australian made but we are finding it a little too soft. We purchased the model down for our son and we prefer the plush version of this mattress. Slowly getting used to this one but I would not recommend this particular mattress after comparing to the alternative option that is cheaper. I hope this helps the next buyer as we do love the AH Beard quality and product.

Better than my old $4000 AH beard flexigel mattress Light enough to lift to make bed..Great for side sleepers.If you were a heavy overweight person 90+ kg you may find it too soft.

Very dissapointing. The mattress is hard around the outside perimeter but sags badly in the middle. If I'm not perfectly centred the hard lumps dig in to me and hurt my ribs. The sag is causing lower back pain. I will probably have to buy another mattress but it will certainly be another brand. Their warranty entails having to pay for sanitisation by their choice of company and transport to and from them.
Unfortunately, despite the great write up, the great little persuasive video on the AO website, and AH Beard's great reputation, this mattress is not a medium feel mattress. We were looking to upgrade to a King size mattress and fell for the write up, but as per many of these reviews, this medium feel makes a 'plush' look firm. Terrible support. My wife and I are both between 70-80kgs, but sink horribly in this mattress. I am worried we won't be able to get any remedy from AO based on the fact the mattresses can't be returned, but surely if the Australian Consumer Law is worth it's weight, then this product 'does not match the description'.
This is one of the worst shopping experience I have ever purchased. The Mattress company should be ashamed to make suck rubbish. I have never experienced such a bad quality mattress. My old mattress I just replaced was 10 times better then this new one. I was stated, medium, however it is way, way too soft. I ended up with a sore back after 30min and slept on the floor. Will be making a complaint to the ombudsman as this mattress is not fit for purpose and it's not medium. My entire body sinks in pretty deep into the mattress. Unacceptable!!
This is definitely the worst mattress we ever bought. Moreover, we do not have any recourse because of AO’s policy oc not returning mattress.We were looking for a firm mattress to get good support for our backs, and the description of this mattress fitted that requirement.However, the mattress is not even close to firm. It is extremely soft and sags easily, making our back condition worse. I am sure a cheap non-branded product would be better than this.It seems we have no option but to get rid of this mattress at our own expense.I would not recommend buying mattresses from AO to anyone.

I was under stress to buy a mattress so that my sister would have a bed to sleep in when she arrived for a visit.I wanted a good mattress as she has Parkinson's Disease.With the help of the wonderful Customer Support people I had this mattress and base delivered two days before her arrival. I decided that she should sleep on my bed and I would try the new bed. It was absolutely fantastic to sleep on! So very very comfortable.
