Other times, it’s best to just guess the word. After losing three rounds in a row, I just felt bored of the game and wanted something with a little more action. If you like witty and strategic games, you’ll like this.

A new favorite board game!

We love playing games in our house, and this is a winner! First off, the pieces are really nice quality. You can just feel it. Definitely adds to the experience! Secondly, theres a link on the directions to a VIDEO to explain how to play the game. Yes! Made it so much easier to jump right in and play! The game itself if fun and easy to play. If you love word play, youll love this! I also like that its a 2 person game. So many games require a big group, but I like that my husband and I can just pull this one out and play just us. Highly recommend!

Endless Fun

This is a great 2 player game that can be played by all. My youngest (9) loves to play this game. It's fun and takes about 15 to 20 minutes to play. We usually do about 3 rounds whenever we choose to play it. It has endless possibilities and it has really helped my youngest learn new words and also how to spell them correctly. I've even learned a few things myself! The cardboard tile pieces that will be handled the most in the game are very well made and will last a long time. It takes up very little space to store away. It can fit into all of my purses/bags/ect and is perfect to travel with and bring on trips. Definitely a fun game that will be enjoyed by both young, old and everyone in between!

Fun

I have always been a fan of the Exploding Kittens line of games and this was no exception. I first played with my 10 year old. It took a bit to get through the instructions but once we started playing, we got the hang of it pretty quickly. We used simpler words and had a lot of fun. She asks to play it almost every night! I also played it with my husband, which got a lot more competitive. I like that there are different combinations of clue cards so that no two game plays are alike and you really learn to be strategic in which clues you choose to play. It's a fun and different take on other tried and true word games and I foresee it getting a lot of play time in our family.

Fun and cerebral!

I am a self-proclaimed logophile. I love words! Big, small, formal or slang; it doesn't matter. I am that gal with a word-a-day calendar obsessing over any word puzzle I can find. A Little Wordy is a game that feeds that desire to play with words. Although this two-person game is simple to understand, it is still a satisfying challenge. Your opponent often expects an obscure pick yet the most ordinary choice is often the winner. It is fun and cerebral! Let's play!

Fun and challenging

I think this game is so much fun! I played with my 9 year old and almost 7 year old. My 9 year old was able to get it and play without help. My 7 year old was not. She can read and make smaller words with the tiles but had a hard time grasping the way to use the various hint cards to help discover the other person's word. All that to say, we can still play with her as a teammate.Basic game play is each player draws 7 consonants and 4 vowels. Then choose a word you can spell with as many of those letters as you desire. You write your secret word and then pass the tiles to your opponent. Their goal is to guess what your secret word is using your tiles and the hint cards of their choosing. It's a unique and different game, but fun!

Fun and neat game

We love word games in our family. This game packs up in a small box for easy storage and is very easy to pack in the camper for us while traveling. We like to play board games and word games at night while camping with friends and family and this game was a nice addition to the games we already have. It almost reminds me of a scrabble and crossword mix. It involves some thought, but also helps build vocabulary in my opinion. My 13 year old even had a good time playing this game. I do wish the tiles were made out of more durable material because it would last longer.

Loads of fun

Our household is big fans of word games and A Little Wordy doesn't disappoint. Once you play a few times you get the premise down nicely. Ultimately you're guessing each other's secret words and using fun clues throughout to formulate your guess and reduce the number of letters you have to use to determine the word. My husband and I are very competitive so it gets heated when we're trying to guess words and not use clues or once we tie and are scrambling to make one final word to win. If you like word games, a challenge and using your brain to guess a secret word, then this is absolutely a game for you. The game is for two people, but you can play in teams to get four in the mix. Really fun and quick!

Really cute game for kids

If you are looking for a fun, but educational, game, then this is it. It gets children to practice writing words, recognizing words, and using their mind in order to create words out of random letters. You start by picking a few letters out of a bag. Similar to Scrabble, you must now create a word out of those letters. You write it down on a mat that is dry erase and you fold the top down so the other player cannot see. You then give the other player your tiles so that they can guess which word you might have spelled. My kids loved playing this.

Word Scramble

A little wordy is a fun two person game if you enjoy word scrambles. My husband and I are always looking for two person games since its just the two of use so we thought this would be great. It felt like there was a lot of different instructions to remember but once you play a few times it gets easier. The concept of the game is fun but I didnt really enjoy the game. I felt like I had a hard time coming up with complex words and because of that I kept losing and didnt have much of a chance. This game is quick and easy but it wasnt for me. If you really enjoy word games youll have a great time with this.
