A&W Root Beer 355ml 12 Pack

Treat yourself to a deliciously refreshing American classic with A&W Root Beer nn The taste of A&W Root Beer is unique in its kind. Unlike the name suggests, A&W Root Beer is not a beer and does not contain any alcohol. The subtle taste originates from the herb extracts of the female Sassafras plant, which grows in specific areas of North America and East Asia. Several other ingredients were added, like vanilla extracts, nutmeg and liquorice. Because of the ingredients people also call it herb lemonade. A&W Root beer is considered to be the standard among root beers. Since its origin in 1922 A&W Root Beer has become the number one selling root beer in the world. Judge for yourself and be surprised by the special taste.nn Note: A deposit on cans and bottles for water, soft drinks, beer, and other low alcoholic drinks has been introduced in the Netherlands. You can only return the empty cans and bottles in the Netherlands.

I love my Root beer soda pop. I only drink non caffeinated drinks. I like using this with Vanilla icecream. I also drink the mini size cans mostly. I take it to work or on the road in my car when I shop. It has a great flavor. It's fresh every time I buy it. I keep mine extra cold with ice.

The A&W Root Beer cans were in good condition when I opened the package, without any of them breaking during the journey to the delivery point. The taste is a bit special in comparison to many other carbonated drinks but you can easily get used to the taste over time. Because this drink isn't produced in my home country, which is Sweden, it has to then be imported from the United States or elsewhere which in turn makes it more expensive than if you would buy it at an A&W Restaurant. Maybe buying a few isn't that big of deal cost-wise but if you decide to buy many of them it can cost quite a bit. If you want to buy many of these only do that from time to time and not that often.

AW Diet Root Beer is absolutely the best soda ever created, with that old fashion Root Beer taste but diet nearly no after taste. Several months ago a new labeled product came out called "AW Root Beer Sugar Free" Which now has eliminated the punch of the diet root beer, we have come to love. I called Canada Dry and they told their person it was only a label change and the formula remained the same. I say bull, there is no punch that only root beer. The formula was changed so they could save a few pennies, I don't care about your pennies, I'll pay more and so will real Root Beer lovers. Now I have to find a diet product which leaves Dr. Pepper and 7Up. which are the last two which taste close to the original. But unfortunately they both have an after taste. A Sticky Situation
23 August 2023

The root beer was great! But one can was sealed but totally empty with no obvious damage. The other 11 cans were fine except for being slightly sticky. On close inspection of the outer packaging, it was slightly damp, not wet, and showed nothing more than a little scuff, no real damage. A closer look at the one empty can showed a minute pinhole on the bottom edge of the can.

Having received the A&W Zero Sugar Root Beer soda to try was exciting. I love root beer and was hoping I found a new way to enjoy it without the guilt. So, when I received my can I quickly looked at the ingredients to see what made this sugar-free. I was immediately disappointed to see that they had used Aspartame to sweeten the root beer. I wish they would have gone with a different sweetener like Sucralose. Aspartame gives me migraines so I decided to drink a small amount so that I could at least try the soda. I chilled the the soda and waited a few hours. I then poured about a third of the can into a glass and proceeded to drink the soda. I definitely could taste the fake sugar but that is pretty common in sugar-free drinks. I loved it! I would recommend this to anyone not adverse to Aspartame.I would definitely purchase this if it wasn't for the Aspartame!

It is clear that Zero Calorie is different from, and in my opinion inferior to, its predecessor, A&W Diet Root Beer. The new version is not bad, and I will drink it; but over time I expect the amount I buy and drink to diminish because it is not as good. The biggest difference is in the finish, though the boldness of the overall taste and the carbonation and sweetness levels also seem to have been tweaked. The pleasant vanilla finish is gone, replaced by one that is metallic and has a touch of toothpaste-like faux mint. I doubt that it is a coincidence that the new packaging does not state “made with aged vanilla,” as the Diet Root Beer cans, bottles and cartons proudly proclaimed.I know there are apologists/publicists claiming that this is just a rebranding and ... MoreIt is clear that Zero Calorie is different from, and in my opinion inferior to, its predecessor, A&W Diet Root Beer. That strikes me as disingenuous. While the ingredients list has not changed, when comparing the two versions side by side it is obvious that there has been a change within one all-important listed ingredient: the “natural and artificial flavors.” I hope the owners of the A&W brand will see fit to either change it back or to reintroduce the original Diet version as an alternative.

OUT OF STOCK! OUT OF STOCK! It's always OUT!
5 February 2023

I love this soda, it's my favorite. The taste and quality are right up there. The only problem is Walmart never has it in stock. I don't even understand why it's on the website because nearly every time I order it, it's out of stock. What's the point of saying you have something for deliver but you don't. They always have their crappy off flavor Walmart brand in stock probably because it's so terrible no one drinks it but the soda people want to buy, nope. I wonder if Walmart does it on purpose, they don't keep popular soda in stock so we will buy their brand instead? It's a low down dirty trick.

Here it is the most majestic root beer this is the best you will get, absolute classic. This version is the A&W made in USA. Very happy with the distinctive flavour made a fantastic root beer float just like my childhood days. Brings back memories of dining in at A&W with curly fries and onion rings! Root beer is the marmite of sodas, some say it tastes of mouthwash but to me it tastes of pure nectar. Its definitely one to try you never know you might just enjoy it!

Tastes Great

I am a huge lover of root beer but not a big fan of sugar free drinks so I was a bit skeptical at first. I wanted to give it a fair chance and did a blind test with a can of regular root beer. They both tasted great, a great root beer flavor, same fizz. same foam when you pour and pretty much tasted the same. I had to go back and fourth a few times a couple of times to be sure. I was able to tell the zero sugar root beer from the slight after taste it had like most sugar free drinks. It wasn't very strong , like I said it took me a few times to figure which was which, but the after taste was still there. My wife tried it and she loved it and didn't notice a taste at all. Overall if you are looking to cut down on sugar and empty calories and love the taste of root ... MoreI am a huge lover of root beer but not a big fan of sugar free drinks so I was a bit skeptical at first. For many years my go-to drink was AW. Best root beer on the market. Raised my kids on A&W. That's all over now. Not sure why every company that has had success with a great product has to change to HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP as the sweetener!!! I, for one, have an allergic reaction to HFCS and it is in everything. If the reason is to make more money per product, go back, please, go back. I will gladly pay extra for quality. Thank you, respectfully submitted by Mary.
