Bought an additional bottle along with my Aarke Carbonator III sparkling water maker. Solid product. Can't complain. Got it on sale. It is exactly the same as the bottle that came with the carbonator. It's nice to have an extra bottle when making sparkling water. Just wish they could have designed the carbonator so that the bottle could be a little bigger.

Loveeee our aarke - we have already saved $$ on carbonated bevs with the aarke. I refused to get a soda stream because, let’s be honest, they’re ugly and look/feel very cheap. We ended up ordering aarke water bottles to stock the fridge. The seal on these are great and our bevs stay carbonated for days

Bottle Life

We recently bought the Aarke and a couple of bottles. All's good, except the bottles have an expiry date of 6 months away - September 2022. Surely this can't be right? Is it simply a case of the retailer selling old stock or do the bottles have a very short life? What is the normal expiry date from purchase?If it's just a question of old stock then I'll go back to the retailer, but if this is "normal" then the system isn't really viable. Either way, it would be helpful if the bottles showed the expiry date on the outside of the box, rather than having to unwrap the contents.

Great Carbonator, Terrible Bottles & Customer Service - All style and no substance

Bought the Aarke Carbonator with a number of bottles. After some use and cared for as per instructed, the steel bottom fell of two of them. I reported this and got talking to a customer service agent called Ebba. She apologised and offered me a 100% discount on new bottles. This was fine, but I still had the annoyance that these bottles were cheaply put together and would likely break again. I received my replacements and sure enough they did. I contacted Ebba again, and that really the whole point of buying a carbonator was to reduce my plastic use. She offered to send me 'multiple bottles as compensation'. This seemed excessive and I only asked for the two broken bottles to be replaced. Got this years ago. It's quick and easy and does not require electricity. Calorie free delicious beverage. Saves the plastic we used to waste when we bought Pelegríno. Reminds us of dinners in small towns in Italy. Easy to replenish the SodaStream carbon dioxide canisters with a SodaStream account. Exchange is by mail. The device looks attractive in the kitchen.

It’s a bottle. It has a cap.

This here is a bottle with a cap. It is made of some kind of space plastic that could withstand pressure like Tom Cruise pulling an F-18 up out of a nuclear canyon in Iran. But, it is still a bottle with a cap that you should probably buy if you need a bottle with a cap. Mine is great.

Okay but not a match for the design

I love the AARKE Carbunator but why can't we get a glass Bottle instead of PET. My bottle after a year looks awful and the prints on it are long gone. Please go throu with your design line to include the bottle quality. Should be state of the art anyways.

Weird quality discrepancy

The bottle that came with the carbonator was great, but there's a marked quality discrepancy between that one bottle and the extra bottle I got. The bottle that came with the carbonator has a cap that's flush with the body of the bottle and holds carbonation for a few days. The extra bottle looks like a different version and doesn't hold carbonation for more than a few hours. Everything is flat by the next morning with the extra bottle, and it's frustrating that they have a better quality bottle but are letting retailers sell non-functional inventory.

Wonderful product that doesn't stand up to hot water

I read the instructions warning against placing the bottle in the dishwasher, so thinking it must have to do with the strong dishwasher detergents I only washed it in the sink with my regular dishes.NEVER DO THAT!The stainless steel bottom cap came unglued from the adaptor base and the adaptor came unglued from the rounded base of the bottle. This happened from the hot water used for dish washing in the sink. This bottle's design incorporates several pieces glued together, and it's the glue that failed. I suggest washing your bottles in cold soapy water just to play it safe. Aarke's excellent customer service agent was very good and supplied me with a replacement bottle. I hope that this new one survives cold water washing.
