This might be a 5 I am not sure yet. My favorite is Dahlwinnie but that was not in stock so I tried this. The flavor is not as sweet and smooth as Dahlwinnie but it is a lot more complex and plenty ty smooth. When my palate adjusts this may be a 6.

I have never really liked Scotch, it always tasted like dirt. Aberfeldy is NOT that. It is smooth and clean. I saw this on Tasting History with Max Miller and if he recommended it then it had to be good!

The scotch is good, but getting it delivered was a real nightmare. Moreover, you couldn't put any 'best wishes' on the delivery, i.e. there was no way that it was recognized as a gift. Somehow, their system marked this as coming from 'SODA - TSHIRTS' - figure that one out.I'll order from Quality Liquor again, but only for myself (not a good place to go for gifts) & only if I'm in no hurry for the product.
Lots of honey, almost no smoke or peat. Not my favorite scotch ever but certainly nothing wrong with it, and you can’t beat the price.
