I picked this bag because of its 25L, since there’s not many bags of this size out there. Overall it’s well designed, and I think it’s one of the best bags out there for daily commute/short trip packing.Below are my pain points:The long zipper is designed for quick access while the bag is still on one shoulder; however, when the zippers are at the top position of the backpack it’s really hard to unzip. The quick access side pocket can be a little bit bigger imo.The front panel flaps down if that pocket has stuff in it, making it sometimes hard to zip back up.The back panel can use a little more pockets like the daily plus, honestly this is probably my biggest criticism. Also i dislike the idea of that foam to force the structure. But for it’s price point ... MoreI picked this bag because of its 25L, since there’s not many bags of this size out there. I’m looking into buying some organizers like a tech pack or something, maybe the modularity packing is the intended design all along.

*Please take note , my review is about the Daybreaker 1 *First of all, let me start to say that I absolutely love this backpack. The seize, the weight, the design, the wearing and the flexible ease to take it with me in another backpack is just absolutely great. Mainly I use it for doing groceries, short hikes and use it as a sport bag. It looks great and it wears great! However, today I suddenly noticed that at the zipper bag on the side of the backpack , the fabric is a bit broken and came off. Since able carry put its focus durability, I honestly was a bit surprised and disappointed that the fabric came off already after using it for only few months now, and not even on daily basis. I never did anything wild with it so this was a bit unexpected. You could say it came loose because of the zipper, but then I think it is definitely a design mistake to put some fabric there to cover it a bit.I am living in Belgium and I therefor bought the backpack through Mukama, because they ship from the EU. Because of this the price was ofcourse a bit more expensive so this added to the dissapointment.Anyway, as this is the only minor thing , I am very satisfied with it and I recommend it to anyone looking for light and flexible EDC backpack! Since Able carry promises a lifetime guarantee, I am hoping they will contact me to give some feedback at least. The daybreaker 2 looks even more great and makes me want to do an upgrade!

Bag sits on the higher side, it became extremely promiment for shorter guys like myself.Back of bag lacks breathability, get stuffy and sweat soak during hotter days or more intense sports (Eg. Cycling, Trekking etc.)Bag itself does not have a supportive shape, require object to be stuffed and fluffed it up.
excellent lightweight edc bag. it stands on its own, has just enough organization, and sits right on the capacity sweet spot. the zippers were initially difficult to use, but after a couple weeks of break in, they're now buttery smooth. this pack is also supremely comfortable to wear over one or both shoulders, and the harness is just right for my average body type (5'11" 165lbs). for the price, this one is hard to beat!
Loved the Daybreaker, updated to Daybreaker 2. 5 differences that weren't apparent to me when I purchased this bag is1) the interior zipper is no longer YKK zipper but the new placement works well2) the sternum strap is now magnetic which feels sturdier but sometimes closes on its own3)there's no holes in the beverage pocket for when it spills (didn't use that much originally but not sure why it's gone)4) love the interior beverage pocket but because of that the size small zip pocket lining is no longer mesh5) the triangular sewing lines? that attach the straps to the bag are now a polygon shape. Feels more sturdyStill love the light weight feeling of the bag, the new side zipper lets me reach the bottom of the bag easier and use the 2nd beverage holder every ... MoreLoved the Daybreaker, updated to Daybreaker 2. 5 differences that weren't apparent to me when I purchased this bag is1) the interior zipper is no longer YKK zipper but the new placement works well2) the sternum strap is now magnetic which feels sturdier but sometimes closes on its own3)there's no holes in the beverage pocket for when it spills (didn't use that much originally but not sure why it's gone)4) love the interior beverage pocket but because of that the size small zip pocket lining is no longer mesh5) the triangular sewing lines? that attach the straps to the bag are now a polygon shape. It's a great daily carry for me and also a great diaper bag for my toddler.
The material used is better than the version 1 since x-pac was a bit too soft and not concrete enough. I hope the max 30L version could use the new material instead of x-pac. Also, the back cushsion is not enough for me, still think it was too thin. Full-weight 24L backpack could be extremly heavy.I hope the next one update could be max backpack and would like to have more color to choose.
Love the design and material, chic and slim. Good for day trip or Gym and any kinds of sports with shoes, towel and clothings. But have to bring along another bag to hold clothes taken over, especially at winter time.Afterall, it's an excellent bag for myself; maybe one of the best buy items in 2023.
When I bought this bag, I didn’t even consider using it as my office EDC, intending to just use it for family outings, light hikes, and other activities as a daypack. After test packing the Daybreaker 2, I realized that along with family/leisure/gym duties, it could also easily do the job as my office carry bag. So for the entire week (now going into 2 weeks), I used it as my office bag. It easily carried 2 laptops and full tech toolkit with stellar comfort. I'm still using it despite having another backpack that is tailor made for my office carry, because the Daybreaker 2 is working well enough that I'm too lazy to move my stuff back over to my favorite office carry bag.I have 4 other backpacks from high end brands, and they're all excellent, but if I'm being ... MoreWhen I bought this bag, I didn’t even consider using it as my office EDC, intending to just use it for family outings, light hikes, and other activities as a daypack. After test packing the Daybreaker 2, I realized that along with family/leisure/gym duties, it could also easily do the job as my office carry bag. I cannot say the same thing about any of the other packs I own. It just has the perfect balance of organization, pocketing, and structure compared to any other lightweight pack I've used. Also it looks SO GOOD!Able Carry really knocked it out of the park with this one.
I have been using the day breaker 2 for few weeks. The outlook is amazing (particularly its simplicity), but I think in terms of function, I have the following suggestion:-The socket pocket to be bigger or deeper as that is the access point without opening the main compartment. The idea is good, I will love to see it can be bigger so that I can store all my keys, coin bag, hand cream into it;I think the lap top compartment is just too fit for my Ipad pro. I think it can fits if I remove its protective case, but it is a bit hard for me to fit that in as the I pad is usually with a case.Other than that , I think the back pack is great. Looking forward for next version.
