I have got this rod for bream, whiting and even pinky/squire fishing. SUPER SENSITIVE! I could feel every bites. I just have my index finger on the line and watch the rod's tip. I coudl feel even the lightest touch of the fish on my bait. This rod has expontentially increased my hook-up rate. I am extremely satisfied with this rod. It will be my main rod on all of my future fishing trips. FUN and LIGHT rod, what else can a fisho ask for?

The veritas range is absolutely awesome however the three piece i bought was a bit of a mystery. The three piece rod had a very visible bow in it. I really liked the idea of this rod because i could keep it in my car out of the way of my wife’s eye and ear shot giving me the flexibility to have a fish on the run type thing. While the missus is shopping lol. I would certainly like to get another one.

Great rod. Excellent for flicking plastics. Caught a massive flatty first time i took it out. Ha e used with 1000 and 2500 size reels and both work well.
Rod was incorrectly advertised on the BCF Website as 7ft 8in 4-6kg. Went to local BCF and exchanged it for another 7ft rod 5-8kg. I very much wanted the Abu Garcia 7ft 8in 4-6kg rod, not a squid jig.
Great rod. Running with a Stradic 5000 with 8 kg braid. 2 days after purchase hooked up on a 16 kg Golden Trevally on sand flats off Fraser. 25 minutes later had fish landed, photos and fish released. This rod could of easily caught a fish twice the size. Great action, good for bait and jigging.
Bit stiffer than I was hoping, I also have the 3.0 9ft and it is a nicer rod. The 10ft has a Matt finish that has marked easily compared to the gloss on the 9ft. Also there is a gap of about 2cm when you join it that doesn't look right.
Great economical fishing rod for ultra-light spinning. I have used the rod only a couple of times but have been able to cast metal lures as light as 1.5 grams. I am sure that there are higher tech rods out there but also more expensive.
I had four VERITAS Rods, six months ago while landing a cod about 5kg my VRS6615PH 6ft 6in one piece rod snapped 150mm above the second guide, I put this down to bad luck and went and purchased aVRT3.5 701XH 7ft extra heavy 8-15 kg one piece rod. While landing a Cobia about 8kg the rod snapped 150mm above the second guide. Only two to go. I love the feel of these Rods, that's why I bought four of them, but the last rod was brand new, fourth fish caught. I have been fishing for 50 years and have only managed to break one other rod, a bait caster on a large Barra in NQLD, I will not be replacing this rod with a Viritas.
Brilliand rod. I got this on special and it is incredibly sensitive and strong. Matched with a stradic 2500 and what a combo.
