Matched with a Daiwa Emcast 5000 Sport reel, I headed down to the water at Taylors Beach Qld with a dozen live herring.After a short time, I was into a good sized golden trevally that finally went 72cm.With plenty of line to play with, this rod handled the job perfectly!Very pleased with the purchase! ( the rod is also quite easy to see at night! )Happy customer.

I have received my new Baitcaster rod and it looks and feels great, being my first Baitcaster I am still practicing, not sure if my reel is as good as it could be.

I had four VERITAS Rods, six months ago while landing a cod about 5kg my VRS6615PH 6ft 6in one piece rod snapped 150mm above the second guide, I put this down to bad luck and went and purchased aVRT3.5 701XH 7ft extra heavy 8-15 kg one piece rod. While landing a Cobia about 8kg the rod snapped 150mm above the second guide. Only two to go. I love the feel of these Rods, that's why I bought four of them, but the last rod was brand new, fourth fish caught. I have been fishing for 50 years and have only managed to break one other rod, a bait caster on a large Barra in NQLD, I will not be replacing this rod with a Viritas.

I’m loving this rod. That band if cork is perfectly placed to hold line against on the cast.Would love a hook keeper added, but only a first world problem!
Arrived quickly, well wrapped and on time. Although i haven't hit the water with it yet, it looks great, feels great and I love the options to set up as a different rod. Fishing tackle shop matched a better price after i pointed it out on another somewhat dodgy looking site. All in all a happy customer. Thanks Garry
