Happy so far with this lock. I wanted a lock that would not rust and so far so good. It has been outside continually for a while now through spring / summer weather, extreme heat and torrential downpours. Due to the time of year purchased I have not observed it in freezing / snowy winter weather yet.

I found the website easy to use and was able to locate the appropriate padlocks after ordering the wrong type on the first occasion. I was able to return these easily and received a full refund which I then put towards the upgraded variety. This was done after a chat with one of their experts who advised me on a more suitable version given the location where they were requirted. Now fitted on my beach hut, which appears to be OK viewed at a distance from the cliff-top. Will recheck it after lockdown but expect to find it still intact as these padlocks are very robust.

This padlock is of excellent build quality, and is well suited to external use as would be expected from a 'marine grade' lock. I use it to secure a trailer with a heavy duty motorcycle chain and the long hasp is ideal for the large links. I've had a number of these locks, all still in use and working well after a number of years in rain and wet conditions.

Excellent customer care from Safe. I was kept informed of progress of my order every step of the way. My order actually arrived before the due date, which was a bonus.Locks are of an excellent standard, very robust and obvious quality. They have been exposed to sea air since they arrived and still look and operate as new as the day they arrived.

Strong padlocks that look like they'll stand the test of time. Can be a little hard to instantly locate the keyhole at times as it is partially recessed under the plastic cover. These were bought keyed alike for ease of use and so that all keyholders had access to all locks. However our son, one of the keyholders, has informed us that the same key unlocks padlocks at his place of work, so I'm unsure of the level of security this provides of other people who use the same brand have a possibility of opening our locks. All in all, though, they do appear to be decent value for the price paid.

We needed two strong long shackle padlocks to secure a heavy, metal exterior security grille that protects the bar fire doors overnight at a licensed premises. Because there are several key holders we wanted two locks operated by the same key for ease of use by all the staff especially when opening up and locking down in the dark. These ABUS Aquasafe locks are ideal being reasonably high security rated, of tough construction, weather resistant and keyed alike. Being keyed alike also saved us money on key cutting costs as each member of staff only requires a single key and, in addition, it helps to avoid over bulky sets of keys. The service from Safe was great with a website that was easy to use and very prompt delivery.

Good For The Cost

This is a secondary lock on our shed as the door has warped I wanted a secondary at the top of the door due to a sizeable gap. It seems fairly well built and has a lot of the features of my Abus Extreme padlock at a third of the cost.It comes with two keys so we have a spare available and it works we’ll for my needs.

Well Made, Sizing is Deceptive

The product is clearly well put together, but this (like all padlocks) is hard to judge in terms of size, some additional data on the dimensions would be helpful.Keys probably a little small and fiddly on a cold morning.Overall pretty good, but I would have bought a little bigger had I understood the description better

Well made and functional

At first sight the padlock was slightly smaller than I imagined, but is the size quoted on teh website. It works well, it's smart and looks to be high quality. Only had it a few days but it does what it should!
