This is a very solid feeling padlock. It is weighty and the hasp clicks into place easily and without the struggle I have experienced with other padlocks. The twin pack where both padlocks have the same key was a very sensible and economical purchase for us because we no longer need to search for two keys to unlock two doors that are adjacent to each other. The padlocks are both used outside and to date there has been no evidence of any issues caused by the torrential rain we have had since putting them on. One of the new padlocks was to replace a smaller, much older ABUS padlock that had given excellent service for about 20 years so if these two are as good as the original one, they will see us out!

They have a very easy action -- key movement and the open and shutting mechanism feel good quality. Many people need to use the padlocks we bought so it has to work for everyone. The previous ones had a bit of a knack to opening them and moving to ABUS has eliminated this fuss. Importantly it means people start work when they come in with a cheerful frame of mind. Previously they would have encountered a frustration even before facing the challenges of their work! I'm really pleased we bought them

I chose this padlock because, from its description, it appeared robust, had a large shackle to fit my metal gate frame, appeared to be made of rustproof materials and came with three keys. I'm very pleased to find that the description was very accurate and the pad lock does have all these features, and its intricate key will offer good resistance to anyone tampering with it. It's strong frame an d latching lock will also resist it being prised open with some force. There were plenty more pad locks to choose from on the site but the ABUS 65/60 fits my bill absolutely.

I recetly bought these padlocks [in December] to increase security in a recently bought house. The padlocks are exactly what I wanted. The padlocks look and feel solid and sturdy are a good size and the convenience of one key for all garden doors and access points means I am not always looking in draws for the usually wrong key. Delivery was a little longer than I would have hoped for but my order did span the Christmas and New year period so this may have been a factor. I would certainly order these padlocks again and order from Safe again.

Not expecting the earth from this padlock due to its size, however it makes a deterrent from a casual thief and gives me a better sense of security. Shackle size chosen because its the largest that would go through the item its protecting, and because its an abus lock, so quality is very good as expected. Pleased with it.

We have used abus brass keyed alike padlocks before for our boarding kennels .(one padlock per kennel ,38 kennels).useing keyed alike was a key factor for convenience of emergency accessibility etc,the quality and durability proved to be excellent.The said locks were used every day for twenty eight years!with the occasional service of a drop of oil.We have recently retired (said locks are still in use by the new proprietor) so when we needed new locks for our own dogs kennels at our new home it was the only option for us!Quality still as good ,so very pleased to use abus locks again.Will definitely recommend this product.

I recently bought two padlocks, both 50mm, one was three pounds and was Chinese the other was just over seven pounds and was this Abus. The difference in quality is obvious, the Abus is secured on both sides of the shackle whereas the Chinese version isn't, the Abus has a hardened shackle whereas the Chinese one doesn't even though it says it does. Don't believe what the cheap manufacturers tell you! Buy a known quality product if you value your valuables. If your padlock is just for show, by all means use the cheap option.
