I added rubber bumpers & am using this fan to cool my Yamaha MX830; placing the fan directly on top of the amp (not in a cabinet). Works awesome & is very quiet!

I made the mistake of thinking this would fit my server rack, but it was too narrow. Didn't matter though for me, because I could transfer the important bits to a 3-fan back plane I have had for years. Very happy with my purchase
Build quality, fit and finish of the case is superb...however the fans are noisy and the fan controller switch becomes extremely hot in Low or Medium, so I have to leave it in High mode which is the noisiest. When these fans eventually fail or drive me insane, I plan to replace them with higher quality Blacknoise models.
Makes a big difference in keeping the equipment cooler.
