This light is kicking a m/h ts1000’s *** in a 3x3 side by side comparison! I have never seen a foot & a half fallen over stretched seedling stand back up on it’s own; wish I could show pics. Not 1 plant has stretched that began under this S22 light; both tents are set at same heights, intensities, and maintained in corresponding environments. Plants moved under the S22 that stretched under the TS1000 have stood up, ceased stretching, and are LOVING this light!AC Infinity has the BEST customer service by far, so I feel great giving them my money; I cannot wait to buy their upcoming products!! its been just over a week ,that I switched from a spectrum king 602 to ac infinity s44 ionbroard 400 watt led .at the time of switch I was at week 2.5 of flower so just little scared of the drop down of wattage as the sk was 624 watts and had a very high rating . But low and behold the s44 seems to preform and is brighter my girls have not missed a beat .So yes I am super impressed with this light . my only disappointment is it didn't come with the Controller 69 but I will get that soon other then that 5 star rating .
Everything is great in this light except of the amount of heating that it produces!!! It's winter in CA and I'm really having hard times to keep the temperatures below 29 degrees Celsius!If I knew that it produces that MUCH heat I wasn't going to purchase it...Also, it's unbelievable that I can't simple detaches it's power supply and have it outside of the tent like...some hight end led lights offer.Now I have a light that I spent 500$ which I'm not happy and I'm looking forward to replace it...
Big fan of the thin board led grow lights i do like the integrated monitoring system via usb-c, since i have used many different medium to high end grade led this one is sits in the middle of my build.I cant comment on the yield or the growth still getting use to it . but i have used Es300, a hgl 60 and the palatium E300 with some interesting results they all grow different in the same environment have fun great light when integrated with exhaust fan and internal fans i the controller is interesting.
I recently bought an ionboard s24 to replace my spider farmer sf2000 in my 2x4 tent. It seems to be a great a light besides 2 things. The driver and board get very hot and my tent jump up 5-8 degrees overall. And the 2nd thing is the dimmer is preset to 20% increments rather than fine tune. Otherwise the durability and design are great. I think ac infinity should focus on the tech to keep the light cool also. Happy growing!
So I've seen a few reviews mentioning the fact that the power cord was short, which it is, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. On the rare but very possible occasion that someone or something (dog, cat, lion, bear, etc.) gets caught on the power cord the extension will most likely break away before pulling down the light and everything it's attached to. It's just something to think about especially if you're not home and it happens. So there is an advantage to having a shorter cord that has to be connected to an extension. If anything, I'd love to see a smart waterproof strip outlet designed to be attached to the tent somehow. At only100w this little light performs exceptionally well for seedlings and early Vegetative growth. I've yet to use it seed to harvest but plan to use it mostly for early growth stages. Solid, heavy build construction with a very small footprint. My only gripe is that the cord seems to be short, I would have liked to see a longer cord, but realistically it isn't an issue with an extended power bar. I would purchase again and recommend to others for an affordable reputable brand.

Ballasts that fire up hortilux mh bulbs successfully every time is another topic lol. So for me personally, once I get it to fire up, I leave it on 24/7. LED's doesn't have that problem and the spectrum and intensity on these board are pretty impressive. I can finally go on a 18/6 timer like everyone else and not have to worry about these turning on or not anymore lol. For what you're paying, I think these are actually stronger and better for overall growth and filling out space to even the edges of your tent.
