I was worried I could not afford to get a new BSL Meter when mine was lost at the airport during security check. This was definitely affordable. The cheapest I have found.

The deliver of the meter was in reasonably short time under the current pandemic lockdown conditions. It arrived with the box damaged, but the meter itself was unaffected. However, I was a little disappointed when I found out the batteries (using two buttons CR2032) were old and expired. The new meter so far functioned much better than the old meter (Accu-Chek Performer). I deducted one star from my rating because of the failure of the batteries.

The unit is very easy to operate, never used one in the past, but found this Accu-Chek Guide very easy to use. Wireless setup worked perfectly with my phone as did the app for the unit. The spill-resistant strip container works well. The only draw back that I found is the test strips are a little small, when you have fat fingers, but this is a minor draw back.

Tester is easy to use and not complex to handle. Good for people who want a unit to carry with them when away from home. Zipper cover has room for the strips and lancer (Do not forget the new needle cassettes). Nice, big and clear display with fast results.
I’ve had one of these since I was diagnosed years ago. Good little monitors but getting the Bluetooth connected can be tricky. Make sure you always have a spare battery on hand too. It gives you no warning the battery is low. I will use it one night fine, the next morning it will tell me the battery is flat & will not let me test without changing the battery. Not a good experience if you’re suffering a sudden hypo and need to test asap.
Read through the instructions to get the item set up. The strips were thick and easy to remove from the container to insert in the machine. The fastclix lancing device was quick and did get blood out. When there was sufficient blood on the strip, the analysis and result was fast. Item is really compact and came with a travel pack - makes it easy and portable to bring around. I did order the lancet drums as six (that came with it) would run out quickly considering it needed to be disposed after every prick. I was told by a friend that at the cardiac centre in the hospital, they do use the same monitor. Highly recommend.
Portable easy to use .: interface to mobile a little glitchy but the information is good .. I am not diabetic, I use this to monitor my blood sugar on a general basis as I have other health conditions. This is a great device but does not replace doctors or hospitals. All way seek medical advice from a medical professional. This just give a you a guide and some piece of mind

The kit includes a spill-proof case of test strips, which can be automatically ejected from the monitor without the user touching the strip. This device is perfect for either Type I or Type II diabetics as its accuracy is confirmed to Australian Standards. Many cheaper Asian imports do not carry this standardisation QA. Top recommendation.
I bought this model 4 years ago, and still works perfectly. It gives the correct count, and it records all the counts on a database on my mob phone. They should describe this model as a wireless Guide, allowing you to transfer your blood count immediately when that magic number is shown.
I like the small compact unit but was very disappointed with the lancet and the fact that it did not include blood test strips with it. On the front of the box it displays blood test strips. So I had to make a trip to the pharmacist to buy same. The blood test strips are very small and a little difficult to hande and use when doing by BGL's
