Bought this for the cholesterol testing, but found it to not be as useful as I expected. Only gives you a cholesterol reading if its in the range from 3.88 to 7.76. I am on cholesterol tablets and wanted to make sure my cholesterol was where my cardiologist wanted it, which was lower than 3.0, but now I find that the machine doesn't measure anything under 3.88, it just reports as "Lo".This range is not mentioned anywhere on the website in the summary. I would not have purchased it if I had of known this.

This appears faulty from the start, it does not appear to read the bar codes of the test strips. Still investigating it may be the strips themselves

Sound product - high quality as expected
Had mine for over ten years. Hardest part is the cost if cholesteral test strips so i bought a taiwan brand tester and results are simillar. My test strips are 1/2 the price.
