Already got a 24" AIO with 256gb SSD which is fast, so expected this to be better which it is.Cons: Not enough USB sockets for peripherals (eg. printer, external hard drive) after wireless mouse / keyboard receiver plugged in, only one socket left. I would need at least six to replace my desktop unit setup without resorting to a USB hub.

Overall I love my new 27" desktop Core i5-1235U. So much faster than old HP. Plus Big! Love it. Windows 11 was not hard to grasp. Only thing I found to be a negative was the new wireless keyboard did not connect. Maybe it's operator error! In any event, I love it and think hubby will be adding it to his shopping list before long as well.

Machine runs very quietly and does not get hot even while streaming video.5. Audio quality is good.6. Windows 11 seems happy to run my legacy apps OK7. There was initially difficulty getting Windows 11 to mount my new USB external HDD (but I found a solution online). Maybe Acer should provide some guidance about this known Windows problem?

Screen resolution is more than adequate for my needs and better than my current Acer which is very good. I was not expecting iMac quality resolution.Cons: Keyboard with back illuminated keys. All USB connections are at the back save one which is on the bottom of bezel and this is for the mouse/keyboard wireless USB receiver. At least an extra USB at the bottom would make occasional connections easier. My current Acer has 3 USB slots on the side concealed by a cover. No slots for camera SD cards as in my current Acer. The headphone socket is at the back and awkward to connect. I am not hampered as the Creatives have a headphone jack socket. The above were not deal breakers but would have improved the product spec.
Pros: Very easy to set up. Works perfectly well (way better than its rather old predecessor). And good value for money, given its screen size and capability.Cons: Very occasionally Office does something a bit weird, but never a major problem.
Pros: Super fast start up - 30 seconds from power up to full functionality. Lovely big, bright display.Cons: Microsoft 365 - don't like the automatic save to the cloud because I prefer local storage with external hard drive backup. Bit of a faff to save locally.
Pros: The computer itself is fine with good graphics. I'd rather have bought the larger screen but this is fine.Cons: The key board is cheap and clunky. The letters/numbers are so badly coloured that they are unreadable in certain light conditions.
Pros: Smooth, no issues, works so quickly and no errors. I think it has definitely exceeded my expectation. It does more that an ordinary work desktop would. I think because of the larger amount of RAM for the programs I use, it makes it a more desirable desktop at a reasonable price. Its the perfect little worker.Cons: I'm not able to use Google chrome on the computer, it refuses to open. Edge is good though as you can import your addresses and passwords from chrome. Just wish it'd let me download software I wanted to.
