Expensive if at full price, but got it on a good deal and very pleased

Better than a Oled 3440x1440 monitor.

Scan has always been one of my favourites for many of year's. Great service. Brought myself the LG C2 42" for £700-00 else where , I wasn't happy with the 16.9 ratio as since 2014 I've only had ultra wides the Oled looked nice but not for me as a desktop so it's now a bedroom TV. My Samsung Odyssey G9 240 Hz which I've had since it came out was a bit to much for what I wanted. I personally think the size and resolution is perfect for my setup. My mobo also came from Scan. Overall I am very pleased that I brought this over a Oled monitor @ 3440x1440.

Fantastic

Ian's review of 37.5 Inch Curve G-sync 175hz Ips 1ms Hdmi Dp
15 March 2023

Pros: Having never owned a monitor before I have no reference I can compare to I've always used large TVs for my computer. I was quite concerned about buying an Acer Predator 37.5 240HZ monitor for my PC purely because of the drop in screen size but I have to say I wish I had made the change sooner the amazing performance of this monitor has made such a difference to my gaming experience. Having the freedom to run games over 100 FPS and faster latency response back to my Fanatec setup has been very refreshing.Cons: Maybe including a remote

Impressive Monitor
23 September 2022

Overjoyed with this monitor it has a great resolution of 3840 x 1600 and can overclock to 175hz @10bit via DP. MSFS look epic on this screen it really does make the game come to life. The x38s is silent in use and i have not heard any fans at all which is a relief as the older x38p suffered from a noisy fan which could be annoying with a silent pc setup like mine.Build quality is excellent and it feels well put together with no dead pixels or obvious backlight bleed. If you don't want to take the chance on a certain ultrawide OLED display just yet then this is probably the best alternative around plus you get the extra 4" and higher resolution panel with no chance of burn in.Scan was excellent and it was delivered next day as requested.

Matthew's review of 37.5 Inch Curve G-sync 175hz Ips 1ms Hdmi Dp
3 December 2022

Pros: Great size monitor for gaming nice and big but not too big to the point you have to sit back. The HDR is great giving great colours to your games and having 175hz on games makes your gaming experience awesome. They put the buttons in a better place so that you can select settings alot easier and it was really easy to set up just comes out of the box plug in and go.Cons: I gave this 9/10 because there is one issue with this monitor I found is the fact you can't go any lower than 175hz. I tried to go lower because there was a game that wouldn't support 175hz. The monitor just blacked out until I changed it back. No matter what I did it wouldn't come back on so its 175hz or nothing meaning if you don't have a high spec pc you might struggle.

I feel Acer get overlooked in the high end monitor space nowadays, I got this after returning 3 broken Samsung Odyssey G9s (never get a Samsung monitor) and not wanting to downgrade a smaller 3440x1440 21:9 panel again.I had the X34P in the past which was fantastic and this is much the same but the extra resolution goes a long way here for productivity and gaming alike. Colour of the box was pretty spot on, if a little cool. Games look great and the 175hz mode is nice to have for things like Counter Strike or Rocket League, no visible ghosting in my eyes but I'm not overly sensitive to it.Curve is very minor compared to what I've used in the past but that will come down to taste. Very light monitor, I'm using a monitor arm but the stand looks robust and comes pre-assembled. No dead pixels or light bleed, overall very happy. This this on sale for £1000, wouldn't pay much more for it. Unfortunately there are no OLED panels in sight at this resolution so it's an easy choice over the more expensive Alienware or MSI models.
