For anyone who is looking for a destiny themed setting these digital files are a must have. They are nicely designed and high quality. My favorite part is that they are not too over the top. The artwork is detailed enough that anyone who liked destiny can appreciate, but not so complicated that it just screams GAMER posters. Anybody you invite to see the posters will likely be intrigued and ask about them. They are also just nice to stare at while you’re sitting in your room. I printed them out on 16x20 canvas and they came out awesome.

Hours upon hours...or in my case and many others, years upon years, of game play. I cannot wait to see what comes next!

It's a first person shooter, which is not a game type I generally go too. So you can still enjoy it even if it your normal game type. The story is good, but I find it choppy and sometimes hard to get the full story as some of its only told through written text that you need to find these hidden fragments. The Xbox Game Pass subscription service provides access to a wide variety of games, making it a great option for gamers looking to explore a diverse range of titles. The Xbox Live network is another major highlight. It enables players to connect with friends and compete against others online. The online multiplayer experience on Xbox is generally smooth and reliable, offering robust matchmaking and communication features. In addition to gaming, the Xbox also functions as a media center, allowing users to stream movies, TV shows, and music from popular services. It can be seamlessly integrated with other Microsoft devices and services, such as Windows PCs and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, providing a unified gaming and entertainment experience. One aspect to consider is the cost. Xbox consoles and games tend to be priced on the higher end of the gaming spectrum, and online multiplayer requires a subscription to Xbox Live Gold. However, the value proposition is often justified by the quality of the hardware, the extensive game library, and the overall experience the Xbox provides. In summary, the Xbox is a powerful gaming console with a vast library of games, impressive hardware capabilities, and a robust online network. It offers an immersive gaming experience, multiplayer functionality, and integration with other Microsoft services. If you’re a gaming enthusiast looking for a high-quality gaming console, the Xbox is definitely worth considering.

A departure from your standard MMO

Now I will preface this by saying I dont have a ton of time in it just yet, but I will review what I have experienced so far.I come from a background of PC gaming exclusively and have very little experience with consoles, particularly shooters on consoles as I find it very difficult to aim with an analog stick. This is a great benefit and one I have already taken advantage of.Really my only criticism of the game isn't really the game's fault. Microsoft has said that mouse and keyboard support is coming to the XBONE but it has not yet arrived. I imagine this and many other games will become that much better once a mouse and keyboard can be used with them.I heartily recommend this game to anyone with an XBONE, especially if they have friends that already play it.

A futuristic, innovative MMO shooter with RPG elements.

Great graphics across all platforms, visually stunning expansive sci-fi landscapes and extensive character levelling and customisation possibilities, but these aren't all that make Destiny a great game. The alien and robotic threats you face on each of the many game worlds are incredibly varied and interesting, have huge bags of tricks (and use them!) and bosses that will keep you guessing and fighting for your life. The FPS element is different from others in its emphasis on energy weapon and melee combat, speed and and 3D mobility. The FPS element is different from others in its emphasis on energy weapon and melee combat, speed and and 3D mobility. Your guardian character is super fast and nimble, allowing you to engage enemies in interesting and satisfying ways, and evade them when necessary.Only gripes are that it can get quite hard, especially if you challenge yourself, combat can get repetitive (especially given the above) and mostly consists of you surviving waves of enemies as you progress through planetary phases performing simple tasks - what keeps things interesting is the environments and dynamic enemy combatants that will keep you reeling. The environments can get a bit familiar the more you play as multiple missions within a planet often take place within the same particular part of it. However, the environments are still breathtaking, diverse and are a joy to explore multiple times over - mainly because of the game's art direction and visual style, which is striking and unique, although a bit halo-esque.All in all a fantastic game and the birth of a successful IP that should keep people buzzing for years to come with new challenges, bosses and extensive levelling and customisation possibilities. The expansive MMO nature of the game means Bungie will keep updating the game world with new content to keep fans coming back for more. Also, is is important to mention that the multiplayer game mode (where you fight other guardians rather than team up with them) is awesome fun and adds an extra exciting, competitive aspect to the game other than MMO co-op.Don't sleep on this one!

A husk of what could have been

Let me preface this review by saying I did not play any of the dlc or The Taken King expansion, I only purchased the core game. However, even if I did and found it to completely turn around my opinion of destiny it wouldn't change the fact that this game by itself should have been more than what was given. There are major controversies surrounding the title. That it is unfinished, story scrapped and changed, etc. Even when you are oblivious to gaming news and culture it is blatantly obvious that this game is definitely not what it could have been. There is barely any story and whatever story there is it's very by the books story telling that doesn't offer anything engaging for the player. The gameplay itself is enjoyable which is this games only saving grace. There is barely any story and whatever story there is it's very by the books story telling that doesn't offer anything engaging for the player. The gameplay itself is enjoyable which is this games only saving grace. The gun's look and sound great along with the very pleasant to look at environments. Being able to take down huge bosses with a small group of your friends is a very enjoyable experience but very quickly dulls as you realize every single boss is just a bullet sponge that no matter how you approach takes a huge chunk of your time. That's the biggest issue with this game, is that no matter how much time spent you can't help but feel that there is nothing gained from it. Sure you level up and unlock new skills but even when you have those added abilities it doesn't make that much of a difference over the course of your time playing. Complete a strike, poor exposition, progress to the next strike, rinse and repeat.I purchased this game at $20.00 and was greatly underwhelmed, I can't imagine how somebody who paid full price on this game would have felt at launch.Bottom line: It's practically beating a dead horse at this point when you talk about the problems of Destiny. This is a game that is very okay when it could have truly been amazing. If you enjoy MMO structure storytelling, RPG level progression, and playing with multitudes of people or friends then this game is for you. Otherwise, save the money and get a game worthy of your time.

A masterpiece.

This game is an absolute masterpiece. I downloaded the demo and played it and even the demo is a massive selling point. I instantly wanted to buy the game and all the DLC, which I did and I tell you now, it does not disappoint. The base game of destiny tells the story of the Traveller and your Guardian, trying to defend this orb in the sky from many unwanted forces; in short term. The Dark Below tells a story of a new guardian at the tower, Eris, who reveals a compelling information about a group of enemies, called the Hive who are redirecting an ancient demigod called Crota... House of Wolves is an interesting story, maybe not my favourite, but very good by itself. Its about a rascal called Skolas who has escaped the Prison of the Elders. House of Wolves is an interesting story, maybe not my favourite, but very good by itself. Its about a rascal called Skolas who has escaped the Prison of the Elders. You are desired to stop him before he grows an army stronger than ever. The Taken King makes this game for me. It continues on the story from the Dark Below. It also brings new armour, content, emotes, weapons and more. Oryx, Crotas father is looking for revenge against the Guardians for everything that happened in the Dark Below. The fight against Oryx at the end is just absolutely sensational. One of my favourite game moments. The new Rise of Iron brings a few beloved guns from the base game, and vamps them up a little. It also includes content which mostly describes the story of the Iron Lords battle against the Fallen. If you do all this, you gain the authority of being an Iron Lord. Overall, you wont be at fault for buying this game with its DLC. All those false reviews youve been reading on the internet, its just from a point of view where someone has too high expectations for a game which are unrealistic. Worth all the money spent.

Decent Graphics, Quality Game Play, Uninspired Story
6 March 2017

If you've never played Destiny, I would describe it best as a first person shooter with multiple missions to go on, a hub city to buy weapons and ships, and very little story to keep you coming back for more. Don't get me wrong - the run and gun game play is decent, boss battles can be rewarding, and team co-op can be fun with the right people. Aside from that, Destiny lacks any sort of compelling narrative from the start: you are a guardian, you're brought back to life to safe the world from "the darkness", and from there you level up and collect new weapons, and eventually, you'll confront "the darkness" in an anticlimactic way, and then the credits roll. Overall, I like the game. It isn't terrible, but it lacks any sort of story, NPCs are generic, and the major hub cities don't make you feel like you're immersed in anything big. It's kind of like you have to make your own fun in this game: if you've got a good group of people playing with you, or you are hellbent on farming levels for resources for that one must have item, than there's plenty of futuristic fun to be had, but if you're looking for a narrative similar to Star Wars or Skyrim, than you've come to the wrong place. It's a good game for a rainy day or a cheap thrill though.

Excellent game, a solid must-play title

This game is an astounding marriage of RPG and FPS. The leveling features and perk systems are intuitive and interesting without being too old-hat. Certain small details keep gameplay significantly different and fresh. This means you can only use one grenade every so often, so using grenades takes more strategy, not just in where you throw them, but also when you throw them.Areas scale in difficulty to your level, but there are also options to revisit old missions with stronger enemies. This, combined with the interesting variety between the three classes, add tremendous replay value to the game. The arsenal is varied enough to allow player to cater to their particular style, whether that be "spray-n-pray," "one-shot-one-kill," or anything in between. So much of the game just FEELS good, and at the end of the day, that's all that really matters: did I have fun playing this game? Each sub-class ability is fun to use, and each kill with a vital shot rewards you with a more satisfying death animation. And lastly, though certainly not least, Destiny has an immense and entertaining multiplayer system, where players can battle against each other in competitive battle arenas, fight aliens together in cooperative missions, or just wave to each other if they happen to cross paths on the surface of the planet on which they happen to be at the time.Smooth gameplay, significantly interesting character designs and plot, and wonderfully addictive bounty/achievement systems make this game an absolute delight for the average gamer. Bungie was hard-pressed to develop something outstanding in the shadow of their previous success, Halo, but somehow Destiny pulled through. If you liked Halo, Borderlands, Bioshock, Mass Effect, First- Person Shooters, Role-Playing Games, or any combination thereof, you owe it to yourself to try this game.
