The best aspect of this quilt is the loft - it's about as close to down as I've seen. Unfortunately, though, the quilt simply does not breathe. It feels like being wrapped in plastic, and traps in moisture. I would not recommend this quilt, particularly at this price point.

I bought this quilt as a replacement for my super king size winter weight wool quilt which I was finding too heavy at my feet and not keeping me warm. This quilt feels just right for a winter quilt but not weighing me down and is lovely and warm. Just the right height of loft to look good on the bed too. I am really pleased with the purchase.
