The T10S is a powerful yet compact active subwoofer, designed to extend the bass response of any nearfield studio monitor. However, the subwoofer’s performance, features and connectivity are engineered specifically to complement ADAM Audio’s T5V and T7V speakers. Equipped with a down-firing 10? woofer and a 130 W Class-D amplifier, the T10S’ frequency response ranges from 28 Hz to 120 Hz and offers an impressive max. SPL of 104 dB. An internal adjustable two-channel crossover allows calibration of the bass signal and provides optimal performance of the total system. The options at the rear of the subwoofer allow for varied adjustments which compensate for room acoustics or they offer more control for satellites attached. While reciting the T Series design language, the T10S is one of the most compact subwoofers in its class, which allows it to be easily integrated in any studio environment. The acoustic performance was optimized by four high grade flexible rubber feet that prevent the sound from exciting the floor and a spacious rear facing bass reflex port for an optimized airflow.

I bought this subwoofer with a pair of the T5V Monitors to replace an aging pair of JBL 2325s. I do wish that the Adam speakers had 1/4" connectivity instead of RCA if they were going to sacrifice an input type, but the XLR connectors work great. I just received mine today and haven't gotten a chance to truly calibrate everything yet, but upon initial setup this sub does a great job of carrying that low-end load to free up my monitors and give me a clear sound across the spectrum. I'll update after breaking this bad boy in and running a few sessions through it.

Brilliant piece of kit, bought it as a replacement for my old sub that died. Just the right amount of oomph to add to my Yamaha HS7's; standby feature is useful, albeit a bit annoying at times as you have to wait 2-3 seconds for it to power up when it "hears" a signal coming through. Has a footswitch pedal jack at the back so it can be bypassed on demand. Fantastic design, bottom firing woofer and a back bass reflex port that is nice and wide and completely inaudible when operating. The quality of the sound is also superior, my whole setup sounds so far better with the clear, smooth and balanced bass and the lack of strain on the stereo monitors which focus more on the mids and highs. Definitely a good price for what you get, from a reputable manufacturer. Would ... MoreBrilliant piece of kit, bought it as a replacement for my old sub that died. Time will tell!

Great subwoofer to provide additional low end or provide all the bass itself. I use these with my A7X monitors with a low bypass on the crossover. This thing has given me more than enough low end response. I use it at about 85% volume, makes my clients feel like they are in a larger studio!!! If you operate in a small space like me, make sure you also buy a bypass pedal.

I use the TS10 with a 10 year old pair of Adam A7s. Crystal clear, well defined. I bought the subwoofer for the added depth and separation. My only complaint is that the crossover frequency is only switchable between 80 and 120 hz. I have it set at 80, and the sound is perfect.
I've been very happy with this sub and it blends well with my small Adam T5V computer speakers. Sound is very clear, great sound stage. I would get this combination again!
These monitors are way better than expected. Having given up music production a few years back, I am currently getting a few entry level bits together to rise me over while I try and get back into it. I went with the Adam's as I had read the high and mid frequency were good. I can confirm this is the case for such an entry level monitor. I had previously used RP6 (G2) and these blow those out of the water fro the higher frequencies. Low end is a lot weaker but I wasnt expecting much from a 5" driver. Overall I am happy I went with these over some KRKs, Mackies or even Yamaha
It's a relatively compact subwoofer with an excellent sound quality if you do not play it very loud. The appearance and build quality are fine. The box does not give an impression of a very heavily built professional product. But it's good enough to do the job. I didn't find any shortcomings in build quality. The resonances of the box that you can hear while knocking it do not show up during operation in any way. I was specially pleased with the rubber feet that isolate the box from the floor. Loud playback with long speaker cone excursion is out of the capabilities of this product. Distortion start to show up gradually when you play back a very loud signal and on low frequencies (40 Hz and below). You should not expect to feel the punch with your body and the whole ... Loud playback with long speaker cone excursion is out of the capabilities of this product. Distortion start to show up gradually when you play back a very loud signal and on low frequencies (40 Hz and below). You should not expect to feel the punch with your body and the whole room vibrating. It won't play that loud. Additionally it can't go really lower than 30 Hz. It rolls off rapidly below that. It's just a 10" driver. But above 30Hz it has a very pleasing flat amplitude response with low distortion. When used on moderate volume T10S shines! The sound quality is excellent!
I have the T7V monitors also from Adam Audio. I was supremely satisfied with them. I didn't know what I was missing! With the addition of this sub, the entire should profile is more rich, balanced, and tighter. The sub can be disabled with a foot switch which is so useful for testing mixes and also gives you a sense of just how much difference this sub makes. I would suggest you go through the manual and the online videos of sub setup; especially level adjustment and placement and phase as it makes a big difference. Highly highly recommended.
After spending hours and days in reading comments and reviews and watching videos I choose the T5Vs. Solid monitors with clean and crisp sound. It gives great satisfaction, which is even more accompanied with its paired sub T10S, which I also purchased. Also shopping at Music Store was a happy and gratifying experience. In fact, I was contacted by the Sales support personnel to give me answers to my preliminary requests and doubts, After that I decided to proceed with the order. Very good!
Very punchy. I use this sub with two M-audio 8'' monitors. I am a dj and this set up is what I practice with at home in my studio. Not gonna lie this thing humps. And I'm the guy who loves nice deep bass and always look for the best. So trust me, you will not be disappointed with this Sub for home studio use.
