Build quality is excellent. Sound quality is ideal for mixing, (very flat), and equally good for leisure listening. Controls are simple to understand and use, effective in operation and all that is required for a monitor of this size. The extended 5 year warranty offers confidence in the product. Studio Spares offer price was an added bonus.

High quality, clear sound with impressive bass response. Fantastic value for money as they're as close to high end audio you could get for a budget home setup. Very Happy.

Having used Rokit 5’s for quite some time i was becoming concerned with a struggle to define the low end of my mixes. This seemed to happen over time so maybe the R5’s were just not performing properly? I’m not sure, however, I decided to see if another speaker would be the answer… turns out I was right, the Adam t5v’s are certainly more detailed right across the spectrum and are definitely getting the results I’d like so happy days! For this price point you can’t go wrong…Bad point (if you consider it to be): They are not as loud as the Rokit 5’s but that isn’t the deal breaker for me… over all I’m very happy, they’re just what I expected.

Already own a few pairs of monitors for my studio, but having to work from home I needed a lower cost but high quality version. These did not disappoint. After reading alot of positive reviews and videos online I decided to give them a go. The sound quality for the price point is excellent. Perfect for a home/bedroom setup in a smaller space. The 5" driver performs well with the lower end of the frequency spectrum. The only thing I have found is they have a high noise floor compared to the other monitors I own. When turned on there is quite a high amount of hiss. Other than that, I can't fault them. PMT also were great and delivered them next day even though they said it would be longer. Brilliant service, as always!
I finally found what I was looking for. I started with the Yamaha HS5 which are quite decent but lacking bass so it was always hard for me to do a satisfying mix. Then I bought the KRK RP6 G2 which delivered good bass but it was difficult mixing with on low volume and i could always here interference. Then I tried the Presonus Eris E5 which are very detailed even with in lower volume range but still had a bit of noise floor and less bass than the KRK. I did some further research and bought the ADAM T5V and I am absolutely impressed. No noise or interference, nice low end and very present mid and highs even when listening on low volume. For a small to medium room 3x4 m, the best listening experience so far after more than a decade. Only drawback is the volume knob ... MoreI finally found what I was looking for. Used as a main monitor in my small spare room tracking E-drums. Very detailed, non fatiguing sound. Surprising dynamics and bass punch from a small speaker. Sound best on a dedicated stand. Amazing price/performance ratio. Very happy with them.
Very impressed with these! Great clarity and a really great sense of space from a compact, portable set of affordable monitors. Nice and flat, honest frequency response overall, really shows you the flaws in a mix which is what you want. I can see these being useful in a variety of musical settings, but would probably recommend something like a set of krks if you’re looking for a really strong low end. These do give you plenty of detail all the way through the frequency spectrum, but for something like edm for instance they could use a bit more of a kick around the lower end, especially sub frequencies. Other than that they’re incredible for the price you pay. The ribbon tweeters are really nice, speakers work really nicely for me for general mixing at low to medium ... Adam Audio weren’t really on my radar before I found this speaker range, but I’m well impressed. Overall I’m very happy with mine and would wholeheartedly recommend them if you’re looking to buy within this sort of price range.
When I was a kid, my mum let me watch Jurassic Park. It was on one of those super giant CDs. Don't remember what they was called but they were as big as vinyls (pretty sure they didn't call them that though).Anyways, that movie changed my life. From then on, I had an obsession with dinosaurs. I got my parents to buy me the toys, video games etc. Basically anything dinosaur related. All my life, I thought I would never find that feeling again. The feeling of pure obsession, of ecstacy. That was until I plugged in my new ADAM T5V's from PMT.It should be against the law for studio monitors with such quality to be sold at this price. And with next day shipping? My god.Music production will never be the same. Unlike the dinosaurs, these speakers aren't going extinct ... MoreWhen I was a kid, my mum let me watch Jurassic Park. This is my first set of monitors and I have them plugged into my focusrite. I love the sound they produce. I’ve enjoyed listening to my favourite albums again as well as enjoying trying out several VSTs for guitar. They feel solid and really well made.
If you are reading this because you have never tried Adam speakers, my only suggestion is really that you leave right away and listen to them. Any, but better to say, all of them. But you are on this page, so you are also either on the budget or in need for a second (third...) pair of monitors. After comparing pretty much everything in this range and going even 50% up, I could not find a better sounding speaker. This is, and I am not exaggerating, a miracle how Adam can do this. I will not say bad words to other brands but after having been comparatively listening to a bunch, Adams tend to stand out from their respective price range by far. The overall soundscape (to me) feels always more articulate, detailed in a way that it is never agressive. Everyone starts with the ribbon tweeters, I believe, and they do so for a good reason. The tweeters are in an other league, they are indeed airy and crisp, will not leave you with ear-fatigue even after working with/listening to them for the whole day. Yes, you can actually use these for work, imho, the only pair from this price range I would safely recommend for studios.I cannot recommend enough that you give them a listen somewhere you can actually compare them with the rivals.Adam also offers officially registered 5years warranty and a student discount as well. That's the first time i review a product, and i do it only cuz i am so happy with them.
