Superb condition, smoke free environment. Little usage. One speaker has a small rub to the rear corner but it's out the way and you're not going to see it during use. I only mention as a bit of a perfectionist. A VAT receipt can be issued upon request. I will deregister them if requested otherwise recommend retaining the current registration and I'll help in the very unlikely situation something goes wrong. These are very reliable speakers though. Selling due to 'upgrade' to SV3, though the T8V are very close within the same volume levels. Having had T5V I can say T8V are a huge improvement and are quite brilliant. Courier likely to be Parcel Force.

Forget buying the $2,000 FRFR speakers, why do that when American musical makes it so easy to purchase the gear you love with low monthly payments, I had a set of Yamaha eights and they sounded dull and lifeless. After reviewing these bad boys on AMS and watching some YouTube vids I pulled the trigger and could not be happier. Thanks American musical for making my FRFR Solutions come true

I have been engineering for 4.5 years. I get paid to work out of my own home studio for about half my income, and was still using my first monitors; JBL LSR308's. Now that I have bought these Adam's I would tell anyone getting their first pair of monitors to get these, and you'll develop your skills 10x faster. Compared to the JBL's these have so much clarity in the high end, clear and present mids, width and stereo info I didn't even know was there, and depth and height I could not hear before, also the attack of of kicks and instruments are very distinguishable. A lot of issues I had while mixing that I couldn't figure out, or had to reference on multiple other devices, were immediately solved once I got these monitors. I Compared these monitors to Yamaha HS8'S AND Kali IN8 on YouTube for a couple weeks on different sound sources, and i just felt that these monitors were clearer than either of those. In person these monitors sounded better, and more defined that what I couldn't have guessed from listening to videos. After using these for a couple years I can't wait to hear the difference in quality I will get when I get much higher priced monitors. That is the only reason I put 4 instead of 5 stars, because I know there is even higher quality monitors, but around this price by a wide margin you won't find better options. If this is your first or second set of monitors, skip the unnecessary hassle and struggling with your mixes, and get these. They have translated 100%, and I have yet to had to make changes through my mix cubes or other devices. These monitors are a no brainer. danpimprecordings.com

While not an official audio aficionado I do consider my self a audio enthusiast, with that said these Adam T8Vs have a full range sound; highs are detailed yet not painfully shrilly like some other speakers are. The mids are very present and pronounced and the bass is what really sines on these puppies though, low yet full-bodied and with some minor eq tweaking offers a unmistakable chest/head punch to boot. I absolutely love how they uncover new details to most all the music I listen to now. I simply love them compared to more than a dozen or so other studio monitors I have listened to over the decades.

These monitors are way better than expected. Having given up music production a few years back, I am currently getting a few entry level bits together to rise me over while I try and get back into it. I went with the Adam's as I had read the high and mid frequency were good. I can confirm this is the case for such an entry level monitor. I had previously used RP6 (G2) and these blow those out of the water fro the higher frequencies. Low end is a lot weaker but I wasnt expecting much from a 5" driver. Overall I am happy I went with these over some KRKs, Mackies or even Yamaha
Purchased these for my studio as main monitors. They make a big deal about their tweeter; but my real problem is with general low power. They have a power knob on the back with a "0 dB" setting about 2/3 up. At that setting they were distinctly a weak, downgrade from my decades old monitors (unpowered, 150 watt amp). Turning them up all the way, they are passable, but generally seem thin and limited to close monitoring use - just weak and unimpressive. I was hoping for fuller, more substantial output, with a noticeable sound improvement, which I have not noticed. Musicians Friend advertises a 150 watt low frequency amp, Adam lists it as 70 watt, which helps explain my disappoint with the results. False advertising ? Musicians Friend advertises a 150 watt low frequency amp, Adam lists it as 70 watt, which helps explain my disappoint with the results. False advertising ? I suppose the fact that Adam makes much more expensive models should have warned me this would be a compromised product. They talk about "precision" at this price range - perhaps so, but I need more power. I feel I am stuck with these. I expected too much. Wish I did not buy them.
Bought as reference monitors for comparing my mixes to my neumann kh120:s. Alltough on paper these go lower it does not sound like it. Pretty loose and non exsisting bass compared to the neumanns. But pretty good sound otherwise, ultimately sold them and using headphones now.
as an affordable range they are a bit expensive, but worth it. Even comparing to models twice the price they sound so so so so goood. Yes they could be prettier, could have the bass reflex in the fron, as the power, led and controls, yes to all that - but as soon as you hear them playing it ALL GOES AWAY. Beautiful soundstage, 3D image so clear out of the box, detailed, all I was expecting. Do you know when you look at the more expensive alternative but can only affor the cheaper one and hope it's anything comparable to the top of the line? and how sometimes its a disapointment, but you know you get what you pay for ? This is not the case: they are amazing and can do 90% of the job, when the pair is 150 euros cheaper than just one A7X! Buy them
I would highly recommend it to anyone who is planning to calibrate with sonarworks or similar software. Out of the box it sounds quite unbalanced and not as suitable for mixing and mastering as other monitors in its price range. It sounds like there is a hole in the lower mids and the highs are too pronounced. After calibration it is quite an amazing speaker with very detailed and crisp highs. The crisp highs also means that it is quite fatiguing if listening at high volume for too long.
As for the speakers, they are fantastic. Great build quality, incredible sound. I now hear tracks in a completely different way. Bass is strong and treble out of this world! Some say that the treble is a particular sound that not everyone gets on with, so I was apprehensive, however I think they sound amazing... You hear every detail and the stereo imaging is beyond anything I've heard before. Also I didn't want a sub (mainly because I have a small studio and subs can cause all sorts of problems) so I went for the 8"...if you don't have the space for the 7"and the sub, trust me you'll be very happy with the 8".
After spending hours and days in reading comments and reviews and watching videos I choose the T5Vs. Solid monitors with clean and crisp sound. It gives great satisfaction, which is even more accompanied with its paired sub T10S, which I also purchased. Also shopping at Music Store was a happy and gratifying experience. In fact, I was contacted by the Sales support personnel to give me answers to my preliminary requests and doubts, After that I decided to proceed with the order. Very good!
