This is a very light weight very versatile piece of storage equipment. It has a very sturdy bot compact design. Its ideal for on the go as it does not need an external power source. Ideal for home back up or for transferring from the office or as simply a link between the home and office due to the huge capacity. Transfer rates are very speedy due to the USB 3.0.Highly recommended.

Ideal for storing photos, videos, documents, music. I am a dj and I use it as a backup for all my music, it is my new companion for any party I have to go to play. Shock resistant and dust repellent. The rubber texture is very nice and soft to the touch.
I don't know if the manufacturer will refund or replace. I hope I didn't get stiffed! At this point I would not recommend. Cord is really short as well. My WD passport is still going strong after 3 years.
Just dont install a game that crashes alot like battlefield 1 for example, will require you to do a error check and comes up with errors about being the HDD being disconnected when games crash (PS4).
If you own a PS4 and are sick of deleting games to make room then you need this. Easy to install, plug it into the controler port, format the drive then move all your old games over or just install new ones right on the drive. Well worth it only down side now you have to decide which of your old games you install next ;)

Look at image. 1.) Every time you plug in the hard drive, you will see a message. 2.) But when you load up "File Manager", it shows that it is. Later on windows will notice it. 3.) Now, this is concerning. Once in a while it is okay to defrag (or maintenance) the hard drive, but windows doesn't detect it. File manager does. I had friends lose external drives for not maintaining their drives, and bad sectors can do damage. 4.) Always eject any type of hard drives from USB before pulling the plug or your hard drive will go raw. On here #4, I would eject the drive, but will not get message "it is okay to unplug....". So, instead, and to be safe, I had to turn of computer, and then unplugged Hard Drive. If you just unplug Hard drive, the hard drive is in "On" state, and ... MoreLook at image. 1.)
